Came in for lunch at noon(ish) Thursday, 6/15/17 with my friend/colleague & we were first in line, they were not busy, but were very disorganized. They were very friendly, for the most part. The exception was the pregnant young lady behind the takeout counter, she was very rude when speaking to her coworkers & that should never take place in front of patrons. They initially told us 5-10 minutes, okay, fine, weâre patient, but we are on our lunch break. Then we noticed other people coming in & receiving the buzzers, we did not, but we stood in front of the hostess stand & they acknowledged us often. They were very apologetic, but again, disorganized. We ended up waiting closer to 20 minutes, as it turns out, though they werenât busy & as others arriving after us noted, had many tables open, they finally broke down & explained they were short on servers. Okay, please, just explain from the beginning and no one will continue to say âthereâs an open table thereâ, we didnât but the impatient family behind us did & it was very uncomfortable. This was our only less than stellar visit to this location. Once we were seated, service was flawless, but weâre also two very accepting and kind women, so itâs hard to disappoint us. The food, typical salad & soup, perfection. My friendâs eggplant meal was perfect. I ordered soup & salad as well as the appetizer sampler with mushrooms, mozzarella & zucchini. Itâs been a while since Iâve ordered it because my husband is not a mushroom fan, but I was incredibly shocked at the recipe changes. The zucchini was awful, my friend is a vegetarian & I had her try it, she was like âthatâs not goodâ, the cheese portions were half the size they were in the past, I understand change, so no big deal there, but the breading was weird too. Oh, and the olives in the salad tasted different, Iâm sure theyâve always come from a can, but these REALLY tasted like they came from a can, that too was a first. Lastly, the mushrooms recipe also changed, they are now only stuffed with clams, I know thatâs new because Iâve never had them that way & they tasted a little fishy. While I love seafood, I do not eat fish, anything with fins. I only eat scallops, clams, oysters, lobster, crab, shrimp, mussels, true...
Read moreAfter a long fun day at Universal Studios Orlando FL I took my family out to eat to the location stated above on May 3rd, 2022. As a fan of Olive Garden I thought this would be a lovely way to end our time on vacation. I took my daughter and son who were tired, exhausted, sore, sweaty, etc. We first got there and noticed that there were tables open but asked us to wait ten minutes. This part was completely understandable. After being seated we waited for a bit (roughly 10 minutes to) and others quickly filled the tables around us. After waiting for 15 minutes for the waitress (Ally) to get our drink order, she finally came. She took our order but seemed annoyed with the simple fact having to this task. With our drinks we ordered an appetizer. After taking our order she took the other tables order. However, she greeted them with kindness and quickly got their stuff throughout the night. This table was a group of three just like us, however they were a group of women in their mid twenties. After waiting 10 minutes she came back with our water and the drinks for the other table across from us. A few minutes later a nice lady came with our appetizer. By this time the waitress already had gotten refills for the other table. Keep in mind that the other table showed up 10 minutes after us and was immediately being taken care of. Within the 15 minutes it took the waitress to come with the soup that came with the meal the other table (group of women) was served early and weâre getting asked if they wanted second of bowl. Once again, they were seated after us and ordered food after us. She brought out the second bowl of soup for the table next to us, and asked my daughter if she needed at her glass of water. After 15 minutes of waited for a second glass of water for my daughter who was lightly sunburned and dehydrated, she came out with the glass of water. Then proceeded to say with a rude tone, âI...
Read moreCame to eat here while visiting from out of town with my family, the waiter from the beginning was a total disaster, could not comprehend our simple order (3 chicken Alfredoâs, 1 shrimp Alfredo, my three family members requested salad, and me chicken and gnocchi soup, fried mozzarella and a pasta boat (Alfredo)), once we had that sorted we never received our breadsticks nor my pasta boat. Once we began to eat I noticed my chicken Alfredoâs chicken was chewy and not cooked well, (I checked a couple pieces to make sure it wasnât just one off piece) I told the waiter promptly to which he said he would check with the kitchen to see what they could do, at this time I asked for another soup for the meantime and mentioned we never received our break sticks, or pasta boat. After waiting a while with no Alfredo, soup, or breadsticks I flagged another waiter down to ask for a refill for our drinks and for the soup and breadsticks that was never brought, they promptly brought as a refill of drinks but we never received the breadsticks nor my soup. At this point I had to flag our original waiter down again and remind him about my chicken Alfredo, soup refill and breadsticks to which he said the breadsticks are being made (my family had pretty much finished eating by this point) and said that he thought I didnât want the chicken Alfredo. The manager finally came over and tried to rectify the situation but at this point we were completely drained from the back and forth, she gave us a gift card for the Alfredo that was never given to me and some breadsticks to go and told us to have a good night. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. If I could give 0...
