Under New Management - Jenny's Eat Drink Socialize — Restaurant in Orlando

My experience at Jenny's was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we had trouble finding the building because the sign was on the sidewalk and blocked by cars. Despite having a reservation for a party of 12, the restaurant was nearly empty, which seemed odd for brunch during Pride weekend in downtown Orlando. Although my party was already seated and served, the service took a turn for the worse when another party arrived. We were ignored, drinks stopped coming, orders weren't taken, and we had to ask for service to finish ordering food. Jenny came out but ignored our table and greeted another table first. When she finally came to our table, she didn't address our issues effectively, and the service continued to deteriorate. There was a young employee with little knowledge of the menu who seemed either slow or intoxicated. After waiting for two hours, a third of our party still hadn't had their orders taken. Even after requesting to cancel the order and waiting for 25-30 minutes, the food came out as we were leaving. Jenny tried to rectify the situation by offering the food for free, but it was too little, too late. TL/DR: Get in your car now, drive to Jenny's Downtown now, order, and enjoy the amazing food. Ask for Gabby to serve your table and talk to Ms. Jenny. She is so sweet and down to earth. You can tell that all of the food is straight from her heart. It'll bring a tear to your eye!

Excellent atmosphere to just hang out or bring the family. Just don't propose to Ms. Jenny in front of your wife or girlfriend!

Started with Jenny's Chicken Chunks Loaded Wedges. Buffalo sauce and ranch dressing top the most melt in your mouth fried chicken bites and savory potato bites. An excellent way to start your meal.

Tender Loving Ribs with collard greens and potato salad. Hands down, the absolute best collard greens anywhere! The ribs are cooked to a tender, fall off the bone finish, brushed in a mouth watering Motown BBQ sauce. Every bite is better than the last. Let me tell you something, I don't eat potato salad. Save the cornbread for last! It’s the best.

Fried Catfish Sandwich on Texas Toast. The toast is excellent and it tastes like Ms. Jenny lovingly raised that catfish herself. So tender, so tasty.

Not the best experience. Came in before the soccer game. The music was very loud, so it was difficult to talk with each other and it was hard to talk with the person taking orders. Unfortunately I can't have any of the fried foods because of a shellfish allergy, so I tried the Mac and Cheese. It was interesting with a little spice to it, but none of the noodles were intact - so it was more like a cheese noodle casserole rather than mac and cheese. My husband got the 4 jumbo wings and liked the way they were cooked. He was supposed to get two sauces and only got the sassy sauce, which was pretty good. Would have liked the choice of having them tossed in the sauce. Our friends had more issues. They ordered a plain burger and got one that was fully topped. It as a very odd customer service experience because they were given a side of wedges, but then they asked for them back because they were with the burger. The cashier then started blaming my friend for that issue as well as them never receiving the other side they ordered. They ended up just getting a refund, but the situation definitely let a bad taste instead...
