I normally don't write bad reviews because it's tough having a business in today's economy, as far as the food goes it was very good. The waitress we had however did something that not only was embarrassing to my family and I but honestly just seemed very rude.

We finished our meal and it was time to pay the bill, we paid and left a tip in cash, the waitress chased us down outside in front of other customers and proceeded to give an attitude asking us why we didn't leave her a tip, mind you if she had just looked at the table she would have seen the 30% tip on the table. The way she handled that situation was rude and unprofessional. I know how hard servers work and I know that they survive off tips, 99% of people leave tips, frankly it isn't a law that you have to tip and a server shouldn't make someone feel forced to do so, in some countries they don't tip at all , are you going to chase them down and make them feel like bums? We leave them because of the service we get and because it's the right thing to do with how little servers make per hr, Honestly the way she spoke to my family and I about it made me want to walk back inside and take the tip off the table. It was very disapointing especially after we had such...

Excellent. Great food, great service, pleasant atmosphere, attractive digs, convenient location with parking behind the building.

We were a party of ten. We called to inquire about reservations and left a message around 4:30; their recording helpfully explained that they only accept reservations for sitting down between 5 and 6 pm. After that it's strictly first come, first serve.

They called us back promptly and said if we could get over there they would seat us right now. So we did, and they did.

Our server was awesome, handled our orders perfectly, took the kids in stride, and was all around pleasant.

We got a couple of calamari appetizers for the table. It was close to the perfect calamari - fried, but not greasy, tender and not the least bit rubbery. The complimentary bread was good, too.

Our meals were top notch. The only down note was a steak ordered medium rare, but was definitely in well-done territory. But the fish and shellfish dishes were fantastic, as we're the pasta dishes. I think the steak was an accident.

Everything arrived at roughly the same time, which is a feat in large tables like ours.

All in all, a great experience. I...

Worth every penny. Showed up right before the big dinner rush. There were a couple people ahead of us though so we jumped on the list and grabbed margaritas from the bar (note the bar is wait to be seated so you need to tell the bartender if you want a seat at the bar - not your typical grab a chair if its available situation. Really good margaritas! Only snafu of the night, there are no buzzers or "texts when your table is ready" for people on the wait list. We waited for almost an hour once I realized there were people getting seated that came in after us. Went to check in with the host and "missing" was written next to our name even though we were two chairs down at the bar. Once that issue was resolved and we were seated immediately, the rest of the night was perfect. A lovely bottle of wine, tuna sashimi appetizer, grilled swordfish, and lobster ravioli were perfect; freshest fish, everything cooked correctly. Bread pudding for dessert with fresh berries and cream was just the right amount of sweet to share at the end. Absolute quality dinner and a great first night on the Cape. Highly recommend this restaurant, just keep track of your spot on...

Their blackened tuna was delicious. It is a light portion though, so if you do not have an apetizer, you may still be hungry after. The shredded carrot and root that it comes with is not filling enough. It could use an extra side. The staff was nice and helpful. But the wait to be seated is way too long. They should really take reservations. Especially considering the number of seniors and elderly customers they get. Someone's elderly mother (with a walker) passed out and was taken in an ambulance because she had been waiting standing for over 75 minutes! And there really is not much space to wait. It was crowded. At least let the elderly people make a reservation...

We had dinner at Mahoney’s last night, and the food, the service and the atmosphere were all terrific! The cocktails were also excellent. When we got there it was very full and we were afraid we would have to wait a long time, but the hostess quoted us a 30 minute wait and that was exactly how long it took. We had a cocktail at the bar, and then we were served. We split the fall special salad, which was delicious. Then my husband had fish and I had chicken and we were both really pleased with the flavor of our meals. We will definitely go back again!
