This was my first time ordering at a Jimmy John's and it was not a good experience. I was charged an up charge for cheese and when I ordered over the phone, they never said that. The sandwiches were OK but very very expensive $65 for four sandwiches. The lady who worked there was very nice to me, but she really should've said when she asked me if I wanted cheese and I said yes, (thinking every deli sandwich I've ever had has cheese on it, and there is no up charge,) that it will be a $2.20 upcharge.
Edited: I filled out the contact form to submit a review through Jimmy John's; they responded and said THAT chain is independent owned and the actual "owner" should be contacted. It appeared the owner responded to my review, but gave me the same link that I had found online. If the owner really did want to know more, they would send me a message or post a way to...
Read moreMy husband's job requires him to drive. He also gets Jimmy John's often. so he pulled up to the drive thru for lunch, knowing that Jimmy John's can be picky about how one creates a sandwich. He asked if they would put salami on a veggie and my husband told me the drive thru operator said "a veggie with salami, anything else?" So my husband clarified what he meant, and stated that if they will make the sandwich that way he would like to add a couple freebies,as they call it. At that point the attendant began to be rude and difficult with my husband. So this guy tells his manager my husband cursed him out. The gm calls my husband's work and tells them this lie in an attempt to get him in some form of trouble. Nothing happened, my husband doesn't need to worry about finding a job in his field anyway. what a jerk....
Read moreWorst sub I ate all year. Very industrial and just long mushball. Plus I stopped coming here because you guys are so fast you don't listen to the customer. I'm not blaming the employees, it's the Jimmy John training, talk so fast so the customer can't get a word in. I asked for extra extra extra cherry peppers. I guess 6 peppers is extra extra extra. You could count the strands of shredded lettuce. Doesn't the lettuce hold the sauce and the seasoning? Mushy tomatoes that tasted like yesterday's bunch. I only ate here because my local sub shop on Mason Ave was closed but never again! I would have been better off getting a hot dog at 7-eleven and I would have saved $6. Jimmy John should stick to killing Lions in the African safari, his sub making is just as bad as his...
