Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

BEWARE ROTTEN MOLDY FOOD!!! Corporate needs to show up and clean house. I ordered a house salad with grilled chicken and no fried onions. I asked if the carrots and purple cabbage was optional and was told it comes in the salad mix. When I opened the salad I immediately noticed the salad looked black on most of the lettuce and wet like it had been sitting in water. I proceed to pick out as much as I could off the carrots and cabbage but now I’m also picking out the nasty black and brown wet lettuce pieces as well. I then found a big nasty moldy chunk of the lettuce core in the salad along with a brown rotten piece of the core see photos. I’m on my lunch break and now I have a salad that I’m afraid to eat. I will not dine here again, this is completely unacceptable. And I really want my money back. All the food places in the area I could’ve chose and I wasted my lunch break picking up a wet, rotten soggy salad. Also the worker taking my order from the intercom did not taking than listening and cut me off as I was trying to speak and had to repeat that I wanted grilled chicken because he wasn’t listening...

It has been 5 years or more since I tried this location last time. It wasn’t a good impression then and it’s not good now. I ordered the 5 bone in wing meal with tongue torch sauce. The wings were barley fried. Mushy chicken wings from a place that sells chicken as the main source of menu items is not the place for chicken. The peach tea was a disappointment as well. I pour it out when I got home to investigate the reason I had a belly ache after one sip. Turns out the lower 3 rd of the cup was all peach syrup. My wife was horrified. It was her idea to try Zaxby’s. I told her we had it over 5 years ago and did not like it. We went today anyways to give our memory of it a refresh. It was just the same as before. Her salad was lackluster. Tasted like plain lettuce with water downed dressing. The woman eats salad 7 days a week and loves when a new opportunity to eat a different salad comes along. Not a good choice. I ate 2 soggy chicken wings and had to stop. Worst thing is to eat a soggy chicken wing. Also no sauce on the things. I tried...

Ordered through the app and went to pick it up in the drive through. Go park and start to open and get everything situated for me to eat my lunch. I ordered them sauced and there was maybe a drizzle of sauce on them. The fries I asked for extra seasoning and there was none at all and no silverware or napkins. I go inside with my receipt and tell them what's missing and the girl sucks her teeth and goes to the back then comes back and says the manager needs the food. I said what I just need those things that are missing and she said no we need the food. I asked for nothing extra just what I ordered so I had to go back to my car get everything back together in the bag and brought it in and said I need my money back please. The girl sucked her teeth at me yet again and no manager came out I got an email if the refund.

Worst experience ever I would stay away from this location. I called corporate and they said they have had several complaints of quality and poor customer service so I'm never going back to that location and might not ever eat...
