Food is terrific, and fairly priced. This location is one of their top/ best stores. The layout of the soda machine, condiment buffet, and To Go accessories (e.g., napkins, plastic sandwich bags, and fresh tortilla chips - - - all free, of course) are well-thought out and easy to use. The cashiers are mostly friendly and helpful (but they do not exude highly impactful senses of " welcome home, mi casa es su casa" !) (a bit stilted, one might say). My last visit was surprising in that the cashier brought our food order to the table since we did not hear our order number called. The primary reason we did not hear it called is that the employees always have the ceiling-mounted TVs (2 or 3!) in the dining area dialed-in on Spanish-language only stations/programs and they keep the volume so cranked up (LOUD) that you can't hear yourself converse with one another or hear you order number called. It's been this way on numerous visits/occasions and this TV-nuisance-situation has ALWAYS been the same: A Nuisance. I have kindly asked the cashiers to turn the volume off or down at least 2-3 times and our requests have always fallen on deaf ears. I would rate them a 4 or 5 across the board but for that unfortunate violation of common sense and respect for the customer. Shame on ya'll. Turn the volume to zero or get rid of the devices: they detract from what might otherwise be a fully enjoyable experience. If this is Not rectified by the time I make my next visit; I shall lower my rating further and probably stop spending my money at this establishment. What a shame for all. We and the owner and the employees will...

Can’t believe the terrible service. Food was good but they need major customer training.

Made an order online for pickup. Picked up the order, got home, and there were some things missing. Called down and they said it would be replaced. They even said they would throw in 3 churros for the inconvenience for my brother and sister. Drove all the way back down (about 10 miles each way) for the manager to tell me that they weren’t replacing the missing meal because it was verified it was with the order. They would only replace the salsa. I told her I didn’t drive back down for salsa and needed the meal that was paid for. She was very rude and I had to have my mom call back down since she paid for it.

The manager finally agreed to replace the meal so I waited. Finally got the food and asked where the churros were. The lady told me, as she laughed, that I never ordered churros. I told her I was informed I’d be getting 3 of them due to coming back down and the inconvenience. She then told me no, I couldn’t have 3. I could have 2. I told her fine. Just give me the 2 and get me out of there because I had enough of it. Get home and we have all the food, but one of the chicken enchiladas had no chicken in it!

I had never had filibertos before but I won’t be coming back. An 80 Dollar order and getting treated like that was ridiculous. My family gets food from there all the time and I was back nhome for a visit. They weren’t impressed. Horrible customer service and inept attitudes...

Updated review- I try and try again to give this location a chance, but yet again they cannot get it together. Typing this from the drive thru. This is my second time here today because they messed it up the first time. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with no cheese and got baconless burrito with eggs and cheese.

Original review- The food is always fresh and the staff is nice, but they have got to work on the accuracy of orders. If you modify your order even in the slightest check your food thoroughly before you drive away. Its very frustrating when you drive home and take a bite if your burrito and its nothing at all that you asked for. One thing that can improve is if someone is at the drive through window they should stay there because involving multiple employees in one order always ends in loss of communication and ultimately a wrong order. Also if you are at the drive through you need to focus on listening and not having side convos. When we can tell you were just laughing and speaking to someone else while taking our order it's makes it even more frustrating when the food is made incorrectly. Again the food is always fresh and the staff is always nice which is why we still go, but improving the accuracy of the orders would make you...

I had to change this from 5 stars to one. About a year ago I found 4 pretty big rocks in my bean burrito. That is forgivable. Rocks are sometimes in bags of beans, so I understand a mistake (even though... 4 rocks in one burrito?). I sent a nice message to the main office letting them know their food is great but to watch the quality control because of what happened. I started going back about 6 months later... the rocks kind of took my appetite away for Filibertos for a while. We might get something from there about once a month--so not too much, but more that other fast food places that we go to. So the probability of me having another bad experience seems low. However, today I bit into a burrito and felt something hard. It wasn't a rock, but a thin strand of metal. I took pictures of each experience. Enjoy the photos. I can't recommend this place to people who don't enjoy rocks and metal in their food. However, for those who like surprises in their food... You can kind of this of this place like a delicious surprise meal. You never know what you will get. It's like the surprise in the cereal box, but now it's wrapped in a tortilla.

2nd time as good as the 1st! First time dined in with friends- everyone’s meals were great, service was excellent! Second time stopped in for a burrito to go and also very good and same service. This restaurant is clean!! Their salsa bar is well stocked with a good variety and also very clean. Been to 5 or 6 other Filiberto’s around AZ and this is the best one so far!! And this locations burritos come with cheese! Thank you!! It’s a great to have a nice place with good food to stop at on our way to climb at Mt Lemmon.

Update: I tried returning for a bean and cheese burrito ( forgetting how bad it was the first time) and I am not surprised... $9+ for a bean and cheese burrito half the size of anywhere else. What the eff?? $12 for a breakfast burrito, $4 to add one small scoop of green chili(Absolutely not). There is not even one slice of bacon in my "bacon" breakfast burrito, eggs are burnt. These people are scam artists steer clear.
