Time Pho Boba — Restaurant in Oroville

Great place to get some smoothies and teas but the food here is very mediocre. I ordered their larb here and said to make it super bitter and medium spicy, but it wasn’t bitter at all, and there was no flavor, all it tasted like was super spicy pepper. Their pho here also had no flavor to it, their bahn mi sandwiches don’t have much flavor to them either. One time I called in to order 1 papaya salad, and when I got there the cashier charged me for 2 papaya salads while only having 1 in the bag. So I had to explain to her that I only ordered 1 papaya salad, and ask why would she charge me for 2 when you can clearly see that there is only 1 in the bag. Then when I got home and opened my papaya salad, there was no noodles at all when there usually is! After that I just stopped ordering food here. One of the cashiers here isn’t very friendly, every time I come here she makes me feel rushed while I’m trying to order, but the other staff here is slow and can’t work under pressure. They’re great at smoothies but they need to work on their food and costumer service. I do not recommend any of the food...

This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I have known the owner for years and she is very good at accommodating and making sure you are a satisfied customer before leaving her restaurant. Thank you Che.

Recently, the Quickly Restaurant has changed its name to Time Pho Boba. Management and staff are unchanged and they still offer the same great service. I have included a menu for your viewing as well as price.

The evening temperature has gotten colder and my wife and I couldn't think of anything better to eat than a nice, hot bowl of soup. Tonight, we decided to try a new soup on the menu called Kasoy. I have included a photo to show the exciting dish. Ingredients would include ground pork, shreaded chicken meat, Ho Fun noodles, shrimp, meatballs, jalapenos, scallons, bean sprouts, basil, with a slice of lime to be squeezed into the soup for extra flavoring. This is a highly recommended soup for the price. Unlike the other restuarants, they also have a large selection of desserts that are worth trying. Go and check them out!!!! Great family...

Pho-ever in My Heart, but My Stomach could use a bit more time in the pot.

The staff at "Time Pho Boba" are solid gold. They were so charming and attentive, I almost forgot I was eating what can only be described as a "pho-nomenon" of mediocrity.

The atmosphere was like someone tried to recreate a Vietnamese restaurant using only IKEA furniture and a lot of bamboo. And the music? A bizarre fusion of Kenny G and that one Vietnamese song everyone knows but no one can name. I felt like I'd accidentally wandered onto the set of a Lifetime movie about a suburban mom who opens a pho restaurant after a devastating diagnosis.

And the pho itself? Well, let's just say it lacked a certain "je ne sais pho." The broth was thinner than a supermodel on a juice cleanse, and the meat was so tough, I almost chipped a tooth trying to chew it. It was like they took a perfectly good bowl of pho and… pho-got to...
