First time ever in this place. I will not be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Our waitress, Christy, was extremely unfriendly. Took forever to bring our rolls, which were not even warm enough to spread the butter across, it just stopped in clumps. We would have liked to asked for fresh hot rolls, while eating our salads, but Christy did not make her presence known to us, until she brought us our dinners. Now, upon bringing our dinners, she proceeds to hand my 10 year old her plate with the gummy bear pizza on it, yes, I said Handed the plate to the child, did not set it on the table. Did not even mention the plate might be a little warm. The plate was hot enough that my child says ouch and proceeds to let go of the plate since it has now burnt her fingertips. The waitress makes no attempt at an apology or even concern herself as to if my child is ok. She then starts to do the same with my 8 year old granddaughter, at which time I tell my granddaughter to move so Christy can put her plate on the table. We did get more rolls, they were a bit warmer but not fresh, they were tough, seemed as though they were heated in a microwave. My dinner did have very good flavor but there was a lake of watery juice under my pasta, which they call wine stock. After my best friend paid the bill and her and the children were outside, I asked to speak with the manager. I explain my experience to him, as I have in this review, and showed him the picture of the lake of watery juices on my plate/bowl. He also makes no attempt at an apology for any of the mishaps or unfriendliness of the waitress. This incident happened at 6:35pm on Wednesday and they were not busy at all and had plenty of wait staff...
Read moreLast time I will eat at this restaurant. (at the Mall, maybe the other one is better ) Husband ordered Hawaiian Pizza, usually gets Manicotti but it has been so bad he decided to try something different. Not worth $12.00. Hardly anything on it; a few pieces of Canadian Bacon and pineapple; no cheese. I usually order Cavatelli con Brocolli but the last two times it has been terrible. (left a review.) Decided to try just a salad. Husband had salad with dinner, didn't say anything about how bad it was. I get my salad. Its a plate of lettuce drenched in oil. That's it; just oil. Supposed to be: "A blend of iceberg and romaine lettuce tossed in our homemade, red wine vinegar based creamy Italian house dressing with diced red peppers, green onions, provel and parmesan cheeses." I got the waitress and told her about the salad and she looked at me and barked, "I dont make the salads.' I said, "I didn't ask you if you made the salads, just get me some provolone and some red wine vinegar." She brought me the vinegar and some non-descript cheese. I should add that when my husband asked if they had O"Doulls non-alchoholic beer (he knew they did because he orders it everytime ) she said, "I dont know. Im not the bartender." The correct response would be, "I'll check." (So lets see, she doesn't make the salads and she's not the bartender so what is she good for?) It was my husbands birthday so I asked if they did anything for birthdays and the very nice hostess said they do a Calzone with ice cream etc. I said I would like the apple one, husband does not like a lot of chocolate. They brought the choclate one. I have sent the very same reviews that I post here to them and never...
Read moreWe have wanted to try this place for a while now. We were greatly disappointed with food, service and policies.
My son got the spaghetti, he could not eat it. No one even asked if there was an issue. Our other kids got pizza and they did not like it. We also ordered 2 pasta dishes they were good. However, we did not see the cheese tortellini's were not cheese but rather meat.
The waitress came off as very rude. Yes, she filled our cups - Thank you. When are food came out and we noticed the tortellini's were meat and not cheese like we had thought, she very aggressively said that was in the menu. It might have but we missed it. Show some grace. At that point she did not offer to help us.
The bill came, and I have never seen a restaurant, add a processing fee and then another fee on top of that if you paid with a debit card. We had almost $10.00 in fees on our $80 order. Sorry but that is too much. I understand trying to find ways to make money but this is not the way.
Glad we tried it, but there are so many better places for food in Osage and the Lakes, we won't...
