We went to Randy's because it was recommended by a friend.
Upon arrival, the staff was courteous and ready to take our order. I wanted to get an Ozark Turtle, but they were out of pecans. I found this frustrating as I wanted something local and I felt that pecans were the staple of the turtle. No worries, I chose something else.
I ordered a Key Lime concrete. The flavor did not really stand out and I felt like I was just eating vanilla ice cream. My family enjoyed their ice cream.
Our friends were okay with their custard. However, they overhead staff state, "let's turn the lights off so it looks like we are closed." This made them not feel very welcome.

I am providing this feedback because this place has a very fond place in my memory. Custard is awesome as usual, but the toppings in the specialty creations have declined in quality and quantity significantly. Carmel concrete for my daughter, which was my go to as a kid, had almost no caramel. The brownie in the sundae was more like chocolate cake and the pecans were really poor quality. It’s still worth going. Lines are always long for the three decades I can remember. I think management has to make those small quality improvements to get back to five star...

2 of the 3 orders were wrong. The chocolate custard tastes awful. Still can't get the flavor out of my mouth. Hot fudge wasnt warm and tasted weird. Super unorganized. Probably why everyone is outside.....waiting for their cones. Plus this place doesn't make their custard. Shipped in.
