Awful experience. We stopped coming here 6 months ago due to horrible service. But thought we would give it another shot and were not impressed to say the least. I ordered a WELL DONE burger and even clarified that means no pink. However, my burger was still raw on the inside. Which is fine, I know sometimes food isn’t made right. The worst part was when I called to let them know, I was told I needed to call the manager the next day as there was nothing they could do for me that night! This was a to go order so we were already home and I was willing to bring the raw burger back to have them recook it. But, was told I could not speak to a manager because the manager was “busy cooking food for everyone” (don’t managers get paid to handle customer service issues!) and I needed to call back tomorrow. No suggestions for helping me that night but that I needed to call the next day. I’m sorry but if I pay for food that night, I expect to eat that night. If I would have been a dine in customer, would I have been told the same thing? Or would they have made my food the way I paid for it to be made? Horrible. Horrible service. I will never eat here again due to the rude and awful...
Read moreStopped in for a nice dinner, restaurant was not busy expected service to be relatively acceptable. Waitresstook 15 minutes after we sat down to take our drink order. At time of placing our order we asked to re-confirm they do not cook in peanut oil was told they do not and she also made a note on our order slip to double check because of a peanut allergy. 20 mins later our food came out and server told us they cook in peanut oil. Not a good experience at all. If we were told right in the beginning or even after she went to place our order and came back to tell us it would be one thing. To bring our food out to us and if it wasn't for us asking again if our food was cooked in peanut oil you would of had a medical emergency. Not a pleasant experience. I understand we take a risk going out to eat, but we are very cautious when we do. I'm sure the food is great, its just how the situation was handled was very unprofessional. I just want to bring caution to other people with allergies to be careful and bring this to the attention of the restaurant for future reference so no one gets hurt. Thank-you...
Read moreUpon walking in, there were probably only two tables occupied. However, a handful of people seated at the bar. Including 2 women in a Friar Tucks work polo shirt. There was a sign that said wait to be seated. The 2 women working, continued to chat and stay in their seats rather than seat us. Stood there for 2 or 3 minutes before a 3rd woman in street clothes told us "sit wherever you want, I don't know where she is. I'll send her over. I work here, I'm just not working here" then a bar patron yelled into the kitchen for our waitress. Even though 2 women in Friar Tuck shirts were just sitting right...there...
Aside from this, our waitress was very nice, friendly and checked on us and our food frequently. Was prompt at refilling our drinks before they were even fully empty. The food came out fast. It was very good and hot. If it hadn't been for our waitress and the good food, I'd probably write off Friar Tucks just upon the experience of walking in and waiting. But because of our experience after the fact, I'd return and try some other things on the menu/give it...
