7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Overland Park

Talk about cultivating kindness!! We were on our way to the zoo when we ran over something on the highway and popped a tire. At the very last minute, we had to decide where to get off the highway and pull off to. With a 4 year old panicking in the back from the loud noise, I suggested pulling into the 7 Brew parking lot so we could get out and get a drink while he fixed the tire to provide a distraction for her. Immediately after stopping, the manager came walking over asking if we needed help. I headed up to order me and the kiddo a drink and was instantly was greeted with kindness and genuine concern. Then, just as I’m finishing my order, the manager comes over and comps our drinks. We got our drinks almost instantly after ordering. My daughter was super intrigued by all the ducks they had and they happily let her play with them while we were waiting. Everyone was so beyond kind. One man even took an ice water over to my boyfriend who was fixing the tire and kept checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything else. I seriously haven’t seen that level of genuine kindness - beyond just offering us a drink - in a long, long time. They made what could’ve been such a frustrating situation and provided us a fun and nice distraction. I’ve always been a fan of 7 Brew, but this just took it to the next level. I went there this morning and got three drinks, All larges. I had it in a cupholder and I went across the street to the McDonald’s to Give my sister and my friend their drinks. As I took my sister’s drink out of the cupholder to try it before giving it to her, my friends drink, fell from the cupholder, and landed on the ground and dumped. I felt bad because she knew I was getting her one and I didn’t want to show up empty-handed and say oh sorry I spelt your drink you don’t get one, so I went back over to purchase a new drink drink, and when I told the lady she said oh well, just bring it up as a replacement comp drink so you don’t have to pay for it. I asked if she was sure because most places make me pay for a replacement drink. She was sure, and I got the replacement drink at no cost. I love the customer service there, the friendliness of the staff, and the fact that they do send deals out frequently. They have tons of options for drinks And they’re very efficient at getting those drinks out to you. They will also wipe down the cup before giving you the drink, so your cup is not full of the little drop spills of your drink on the...

Let me tell you about this place… everyone is so nice and can carry a conversation with you!! I frequent here and have never been disappointed, I go in and try different drinks all the time and they can pull up my drink history by my phone number and make suggestions! Just this morning I wanted to try the Crème Brûlée and the person taking my order looked at my drink history and helped me me remember my milk choices BUT also saw that the drinks I typically get are a bit more on the sweeter side and she knew that the drink I just ordered wasn’t as sweet. She suggested adding an additional scoop to make it sweet to meet what I typically get. I kindly declined wanting to try it as is and although it was still good, she was right!!! The customer service, the authentic conversations , and the quality of drinks is not something you see much anymore!!
