Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Overland Park

Hard to believe this is a chick-fil-a!!!! I went through the drive through on the way home. I’ve never gave this one a shot seeing as I normally stick with the 2 stores I know and love. As I order my first entree, chicken club with no lettuce, no tomatoes, extra pickles, the young man has me repeat it several times. I could hear there was definitely a lot of “other talking” going on inside. Next I can ordered my following 2 meals without anything special. As soon as I got home my girlfriend opens the bag and realized the “special” order was wrong,and we only got 1 fry with 3 meals. So my girlfriend packed it up and headed back to the store. When she got there she went back through the drive up and clearly same young man at the window seeing as she had the same thing happen with having to repeat her order. Once at the food pick up door she decided to check the order before she drove away, and it was wrong again and still missing the fry’s. My girlfriend went inside and told the young lady at the counter who then gave her the 2 fry’s. Once in the car she checked the sandwich and realized they made it wrong again. At that point she took it all in and had to get our money back. On a brighter note Chipotle got the order correct first...

Decided to enter and pick up my meal instead of driving through to check out the inside of the store. My order was made correctly. Fries nicely salted, food was warm, staff was courteous, exactly what I expected from all Chick-fil-As. The problem is the design of the building and the current state of the entrances. I honestly think that whoever designed the building didn't know where it was going to be placed, or had ever designed a fast food restaurant before.

The entrance and exit doors are not placed on the parking lot side of the building. They are placed on the side next to the drive-through. So you have to walk next to the drive through, almost to the back of the restaurant.

The store as of now is inconvenient to drive into. As of now there are still chain fences up, and I did not see obvious signs stating where the entrance and exits are to the parking lot.

The design of the building cannot be fixed without tearing it all down and rebuilding it, but the entrance problem may be able to be fixed.

I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now I'll keep giving my business to the 95th and...

Newest Chick-fil-A in the city is actually the worst. I had a " be our guest" card where you can get a free sandwich meal. On the card it says original chicken sandwich. However, the day before I came in and they said I could get a spicy chicken sandwich. Today I came and did the same thing again And whatever manager was on duty absolutely refused. The first reason was it was a price difference. It's only a $0.20 price difference I can pay that. When I said I could pay he then said the card is only good for the face value Original chicken sandwich. So I just left and made my way to Ward parkway Chick-fil-A where they honored the gift card. Let me get a spicy sandwich and I paid the difference between that and a lemonade.

I don't hate Chick-fil-A I just don't like when managers don't know how to problem solve. Thank you Ward parkway Chick-fil-A for being the best....
