The Good: I got the "slider" which is a decent sized chicken sandwich. It was good...had good flavor, seasoning, etc. Solid A sandwich. The fries (even though they were frozen) were a good, I give them a B. Overall, good food. Service: Let's clear this up...you run a food counter, not a restaurant. Nobody takes me to a table, takes my order and then brings me my food followed by bussing dirty dishes. Which is all OK. But don't shake me down for a TIP when I go to a counter, order my food, wait for it at said counter, pick up my food, then clean up after myself. You are not servers. You're workers getting an hourly wage. Don't expect your customers to subsidize your labor costs. Nobody spit in my face, so I'll give service a D- but NOT tipworthy and nothing to write home about Atmosphere: F-. If there were such a thing as a lower grade, I'd give it solely based on how obnoxious the environment is. You have a graffiti design thing...mixed with weird industrial elements...which isn't nearly as off-putting as the music you have so loud, I can't carry on a conversation. Between the tile and hard surfaces everywhere, it sounds like you're at a house party in a parking garage. Turn the music down or better yet, off. Value: C-. I got a sandwich and a small drink. I paid over $15 for fast food. I know..."we did it Joe"...but maybe offer a lunch special or combo for less than the hourly wage of most working-class people...like the ones you have panhandling for tips.
Update: I appreciate the response from the business so I upgraded based on that. But a cursory review of other feedback has a couple common themes: loud atmosphere and a little expensive. Maybe it’s a generation thing and those of us who remember way back in 2018 when ordering food wasn’t an investment. I stand by the food tastes great but I just prefer a...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW WAY YOUR MONEY! GO TO A REAL RESTERAUNT!
We ordered a 2 tender meal and a 1 slider 1 tender meal with a shared drink that cost $30.02. The kid, Don T, behind the register said that "Hot" would be the same experience as standard buffalo sauce and did not really know much about the menu. When I go my food the girl at the counter gave no eye contact, did not verify that this was even my order and had nothing to say with only an outstretched hand to receive the pager, just a surly attitude. When we opened our boxes, 15 ft from the counter our fries were cold and a wave of overpowering spice emanated from the box. After having to go back to the counter, our fries were refreshed by the surly girl. I picked up my sandwich that had slide over to the side and needed to be reassembled. Taking he first bite the chicken was crunchy and juicy. However, the spice was all I could taste and feel. It had no other flavor than HOT! The seasoning was merely hot for hots sake, it was really not what Don T had described or promised. The best part of my entire meal was the kale slaw. I actually did not eat anything other than some of the fires and the slider. I left the single tender in the box. The idea of eating the tender discussed me after the slider. While the employees looked good. Don T at the register needed more menu knowledge as he mislead me about the flavors and heat. The surly girl needs a whole new attitude to work up front. Neither really seemed to care about what we needed or wanted. They seem to need more training, more quality control and a better product. The slider/tender meal was $13, the 2 tender meal was $12 and we shared a drink. So after spending $30.02 on disappointment I should have taken my wife to a real restaurant while...
Read moreThis place is clean, efficient, friendly and fresh. We ordered the Chicken sandwich meals that come with a strip. We'd been trying to visit for the longest but the lines were out the door on a regular basis so we patiently waited.
I can see what draws the crowds. It's something new, offering novelty items and people are curious. Once we were finally able to try it out, it was good but not spectacular. I liked it but didn't love it to the point where I'd keep it in constant rotation of places to visit.
Let's start by saying the customer service was AMAZING!!!! As we all know that's difficult to come by these days. Big UPS for that!!! The restaurant itself was clean and there were people around to clean off tables as soon as they became available. The food options were cool and there are a variety of selections for various appetites and preferences, plus you can add items a la carte if you prefer. Your order is made fresh, so while it might take a bit longer to get your food you know you're getting freshness. The flavor of the food was good.
We ordered carry out and I wasn't impressed by the space provided to wait in while your order is being prepared. It felt like we were being intrusive to the customers dining in because carry out customers were all smashed in a very small space together. Also, the "mascot" is off putting - I won't say what it looks like to me but you get the gist. They do however, have really accessible and clean restrooms.
All in all I'd say our overall experience was good but I won't "break my neck" to frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. As a whole it just wasn't that memorable for me and the fam. Definitely try it out, if you haven't and grab some extra pickles if you're into that sort of thing. They were very...
