TL;DR: Delicious, good portions, great price, and they always get it right!

Full Story: For the history of me ordering takeout, I ALWAYS check the whole order before leaving with my food. I've had to train my friends and family to do this too whenever picking up food for me. I'm not a picky eater, but we all want what we ordered. We've all had countless orders messed up only to find out after we're back home. I still frequent several of my favorite spots that mess up my orders (albeit I catch it in the store before leaving) so it's never a deal-breaker, just a monkey wrench that slows down your plans. With this Jimmy John's location specifically, I've ordered lunch here at least once a week for almost two years now. Even tho they've never messed up my order, I would still always check before tipping/leaving per habit. After about a year of perfect orders, I can say that I no longer check my sandwich before leaving and they still have a perfect track record! I have been eating Jimmy Johns regularly since they opened in KC over 20yrs ago. My husband and I got sandwiches delivered from this location yesterday and they were by for the worst Jimmy Johns sandwiches either of us have ever had. Now we are both up early sick w stomach problems. The bread the meat the cheese the lettuce was all clearly sitting out too long, we could tell on our first bite but both choked down half anyway because we were famished and spent $30 on 2 cold sandwiches. Th emat wand cheese were weird and sticky, the lettuce wasn't even lettuce anymore it was green mush,vthe bread was paper thin and quickly soggied. So disappointed by this awful experience, it will probably be the last JJ sandwiches we EVER eat! Absolutely disgusting. So very disappointed. I'm not a review person but thought the owner should know that these kids are doing a terrible job running your store and the food is awful because of their lack of prep work and consistency keeping the ingredients turned over...

When I've called, I'm usually told either one of the drivers didn't show up for their shift or one of their openers didn't show up for their shift, so they are running behind. Sorry. I've always loved Jimmy John's but Goodcents doesn't take 2 hours to deliver a sandwich and chips like this JJ locations.
