As a teacher and artist, I am always on the look out for outstanding teachers for my children in their areas of interest. Our oldest child took a class with Jessica at the Nelson, and we were immediately struck by her intuition, patience, care, respect, and natural investment in teaching kids about the process of making art - at their level. Jessica is a gifted art teacher who now has a beautiful studio open in Old Overland Park that is packed with appealing art materials for kids.
