I love this store and prefer it over others. But the older woman who works here really puts me off. This is the third time i visited and wasn't acknowledged for a full 15 mins... No ask if i need help, nothing. But she did make sure i was aware my children were making her uncomfortable. My youngest in a stroller and my 3yo touching crystals.. But behaving. When i was ready to check out, she still didnt acknowledge me and continued to write things down, ignoring me until she was done. I asked a few questions, which she answered in a dismissive way. I am pretty new still and am looking for basic assistance finding the right books. She didnt recommend anything and was more worried about my child than me. As someone who also owns a small business, this greatly turned me off. The younger, brunette woman who works there is wonderful. As were the two other ladies working today. Still have icky vibes from this business after visiting during the beginning times of Covid. They tried to enforce a strong regulation that infants (newborns) needed to be masked or their heads/faces covered with a blanket. Not only is that purely asinine from a scientific CDC standpoint, it’s just as belittling and embarrassing for a mother as being told to cover her child during breastfeeding. The two ladies working today were the sweetest. Took the time to talk to both me and my daughters. Show us crystals and everything. They did the shopping for us due to covid and the new policies. You just point and they grab it for you and ring it up. They had everything you could want the pricing was so reasonable. The only downside is it is 45 mins away from my where I live. Totally worth the drive and planning on going again next weekend. I hope the same two ladies are working, they were just...
