I had a horrible experience here. I took my two daughter (ages 7 and 4) for happy meals on 11/30/19 at about noon. My daughters love Happy Meals and since we were out and about shopping It seemed like a a great Idea. About and a hour or so later we are sick, throwing up aggressively, weak, diarrhea. We had food poisoning from two happy meals and a double quarter pounder. The following day I called to notify the manager what had happened to us, not wanting anything from him except for him to follow up with his staff to make sure that food is handled properly so no other family goes through what i have been through in the past 48 hours since consuming that meal. The manager was rude, unreceptiveand unapologetic. He completely disregarded my report. He said his restaurant was inspected a few weeks ago and it was upto code. He also said because no one else has complained, we must have gotten food poisoning elsewhere. He insisted that he knew nurses personally and knows of people who have the same symptoms from other diseases that are going around. He told me that I was trying to blame them for something that isn't their fault. He said because no one else has complained he won't do anything to prevent this from happening to anyone else. How many people have to complain for McDonald's to acknowledge and take action? He made me feel like it was my fault for taking my family there and since no one else has complained, I'm out of luck. I was shocked and appalled that someone responsible for an eating establishment could care less about food safety or the lives of the customers. Buyer's beware! I don't recommend...
Read moreCame in and ordered food. Fries? Stale. Bottom of burger bun? Dry. Just like the piece of bread no one wants. There are flies everywhere. I decided to sit around for 30 extra minutes just to observe what is wrong with this McDonald's. The manager, Mathew, great customer service. Was getting to people back to back with a smile on his face. As I'm sitting just watching how he operated, this McDonald's is severely understaffed. Hire more people for cashiering. After I was finished my observation, I was curious and asked Matthew how many hours a week he was working. He told me 50-60 hours. Rarely 40 hours. Do you know that's illegal especially if you are not hiring more people. I doubt that man gets a break. Which is also illegal. I dug a little deeper and asked him if he was in high school, he looks a little younger. Come to find out he hasn't finished his high school degree and is trying to get his GED. However, he is always there. Why isn't McDonald's supporting him to finish school. I'm never eating at this location again because higher up management clearly just wants to work him to the bone. Also. I had a laugh when I saw the sign that tells customers to give them five stars and they'lll give you an ice cream cone. That in my eyes as a supervisor is a sign of laziness just to get 5 stars. That's like telling people to like your picture on Instagram. No other McDonalds that I know...
Read moreOrdered sweet tea in drive thru and got tea, tasted and it was definitely unsweetened. Went back thru drive thru behind 5 other cars, advised my problem and order taker very pleasant. Stated she would change. Got to second window, reordered “sweet” tea and took sip before driving off. Not sweet tea, unsweetened! Walked inside and advised problem and was given another tea. Tasted before walking out and Unsweetened! I advised the employee at the counter tea was not sweet. Perhaps tea not in correct container. She was very, very short with me and said, Ma’m, I do not drink the tea!” With that, she walked away in a huff and left me standing there.
Training on customer service is needed. She should have offered another drink and told me she would check the tea, when possible when possible.
I know essential employees are overworked and I was cautious to be polite. This is a turnoff and I will not return to your store.
Hope her day gets better! She did not help my day!
Yes, it is just tea, but customer service...
