Mr Gyro's Greek Food & Pastry — Restaurant in Overland Park

Mr. Euro’s has been my Overland Park go-to for years, and it’s still one of the best values for Greek food in KC. I usually order the Classic Gyro with spicy tzatziki — that sauce is incredible and makes everything better. I’ve also enjoyed the beef souvlaki skewer (well-seasoned and filling), moussaka (Greek “lasagna” with eggplant and beef), dolmades (stuffed grape leaves with lemon), and especially the lemon chicken orzo soup, which is my perfect version of chicken noodle soup.

Desserts like baklava and tiramisu are decent, though I still need to try their opera cake. Appetizers like the spicy feta dip and new garlic potato dip are also worth a look.

Consistency can be a little uneven at times, but overall the food is authentic, flavorful, and affordable compared to other spots. Solid 4.5 stars (rounded to 4) and a place I keep...

I usually order Gyros here. Friendly atmosphere. Except for Mr Gyros, I never had Mediterranean food outside Germany that was good. That also means I stay away from other fast-food chains gyros as they are just gyro shaped objects.

Tables here are clean, ate in. Prices are reasonable, with fresh ingredients. Greek pastries you can order is on display case where you place your order.

Within reason, the wait for food is trivial. By the time you wonder if your order is done, It probably is.

There is handicapable parking. No booths.

Never open on Sunday.

Me and my friends order was boxed in the same box, I called up there to see about getting this resolved. But the owner lady was absolutely the rudest lady I have talked to in a long time. Saying that’s how they do it. I explained I’m not gonna eat my food out of the same container as my friends food is in. This could have been resolved if she wasn’t so rude on the phone. When I returned the food she was still rude towards me and said she won’t be refunding my money. Last time I will be eating at this location or any of there other locations.
