Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Overland Park

Been going through the drive through a few times a week for the last 3 weeks or so. The coffee is, just ok, but drinkable, especially for $1.09. But, this morning, I pulled up to the window; the girl who was supposed to engage me and take my payment stuck her hand out the window with her head turned towards one of her coworkers; she was having small talk with them. I sat there, waited for her to look at me and tell me my total. She finally looked at me and said, "$1.09." I handed my card over, she handed me my drink and card and walked off and started looking at her phone. She actually seemed completely in shock that I was expecting some manner of engagement. I guess since the coffee is just ok, and now the service is pathetic; I'll never go back. Just lost my business, and hopefully the business of everyone I talk to about it. Word of mouth...

this location often gets my order wrong because the microphones/headsets do not work properly. even if they do get my order right, the way they make the coffee is awful. my flavored cold brew tasted like water and caramelliscious smells like BO because they cooked the beans too long. why should I continue to pay $7 for a coffee if instant tastes better at home? I ordered a cold brew today and got a flavorless iced coffee. what kind of coffee joint doesn't know the difference?

it's also a lucky draw as to whether the server will sound like they hate you or not. though their best customer service is when they're busiest, and they may come out to take your order. it's an average scooters otherwise.

overall I recommend a different location. this is the worst one I've been to. the best one is next to JCCC. I won't back to...

I feel bad giving this place a mediocre rating but EVERY time I go here they are out of everything. The staff is exceptional and all of them are extremely friendly and helpful but I don’t know if management is doing all they can to be more successful because they never have what they need. Especially with food.. I have been there several times this month and every single time they have been out of almost everything and I’m not going in the afternoon I get there early so I am not sure what management is doing in terms or ordering supplies but it’s disappointing. This shop is on the way to work but now I go out of my way to go to Starbucks because they always are supplied. Feel bad for the staff because again they are the best coffee shop staff I have ever...
