The food was good. That's about all. They give you unwrapped straws already in your drink, so I sincerely hope the servers actually wash their hands between handling money and the drinks, but from what we saw, that clearly doesn't happen... 🤢 The service was terrible. Our server Luke, couldn't manage the few tables he had. 30 minutes from being sat after walking in until we finally got our order taken. That was AFTER getting his attention and asking if we could finally order. We went through 2 baskets of chips and a few drink refills before we finally got our food. Luke avoided our table at every opportunity after he realized he completely ignored our table for taking our order until he finally brought our food. Then he was more than happy to come by 3-4 times in the 15 minutes it took for us to eat. When the hostess asked about our experience we told her, she said oh I'm sorry! Then turned to chat with someone without even cashing out our ticket that we were standing there for.

I have been going to Torreons for over 30 years. I was always impressed with the food, drink and service. However last weekend I took my family there. We were told that it would be an hour wait for carry out. So we ordered and then ordered drinks. As a rule everytime we come there we were offered salsa and chips. This time we were told we would now have to ask for them. After a long wait we were brought chips. We continued to have slow service with reordering drinks. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, watching the patrons completely turned over, we asked what the status of the order was. We were told they were busy. We advised that if they could not get to order, give us our money back and we would go some where else. While it was being checked on the manager continued to stare at us. We recently visited this Mexican restaurant in Kansas City with friends and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was authentically traditional, setting the perfect mood for an enjoyable dining experience. The food was simply amazing; we tried the fish tacos, enchiladas tres amigos, fajitas, and chimichanga, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The drinks were also a hit among everyone in our group.

What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Lucita, our waitress. She was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to explain menu choices and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her attentiveness added to the overall positive experience.
