A KC Original that will Rise to the Top of the Food Scene. I loved this place. It is a quick-service joint that sells made-from-scratch gourmet tacos, wraps, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. The food is fresh, healthy, and full of flavor—you can tell they use premium ingredients; the price-points and portions are perfect. Even their napkins are good quality—thick and absorbent (great when you have kids)! My family and I ordered four wraps. Our kids split a Chicken Cashew Avocado Wrap ($8.25) was a grilled all-natural chicken with avocado, cashews, cheddar cheese, fresh basil, mixed greens, diced tomatoes, and sriracha hot sauce. They ate it up without hesitation and my oldest said it needed a little more chicken. My wife and I split three wraps because we couldn’t decide which to sacrifice for another time (which there will be many other times). I first tried the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap ($8) was a grilled, all-natural chicken sautéed with fresh ginger, thyme, Jamaican jerk sauce, pineapple salsa, Asian slaw, and mixed cheeses. It was very flavorful, but I don’t think I’m a jerk-fan. If you are, then you should like this creation. Next up was the Spicy Thai Chicken Wrap ($7.75) was a grilled, all-natural chicken with a spicy Thai slaw, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo, sriracha, and honey aioli. This wrap was light and fresh—something perfect for a hot summer day—you can tell they grilled good-quality chicken and topped it off with fresh vegetables. Last up was the Kung Pao Chicken Wrap ($8) was a Cajun-grilled, all-natural chicken layered with Thai slaw, pico de gallo, cashews, pepper jack cheese, sriracha, and honey aioli. This was my favorite one—it had the most robust flavors and I LOVE cashews in dishes like this one. I could have ordered and eaten a second one. It’ll be hard not to go back to this one time and time again. My only recommendation to improve upon a very-well executed dining experience would be to let patrons add more of their delicious, house-made sauces and salsas (they have over 15 to choose from). They had Chipotle and Habanero sauces sitting out on a counter to add spice, which is great, but I would opt for more sauce akin to the respective wrap. Each wrap, burger, or sandwich comes with a side. We ordered chips (for the kids), broccoli salad, potato salad, and their seasonal side—which was an Asian green salad. The sides were fine; they make a fine accoutrement, but the stars of the show were the wraps—as it should be! Go by yourself to grab a quick, healthy bite. Go with buddies, a date, family, or a large group. They even cater and I’ve had their catering, which was how I learned about them, and it was delicious. I hope they open more in the KC-area and grow. With the downfall-and-slow-recovery of Chipotle, Twisted Fresh found an opening to provide a superior alternative with novel and unique flavors.

Kids said burgers were tasty. Hubs had a Thai wrap and enjoyed it. I had a cashew wrap without chicken. If you don’t eat meat, you can sub in cashews, quinoa or black beans for the protein. My wrap had so much sriracha on it that it was absolutely inedible. Incredibly salty. It could have been delicious if not smothered. I wish their menu had some straight veggie options rather than “take off the meat” options. Some of the flavors just don’t go together without meat. There are enough cultural and by-choice vegetarian folks within a 3 mile radius to make this a pretty popular option, especially if you don’t always want Mexican take out. For four people, without drinks and with a tip, it was roughly $55.00. Casual counter service restaurant, DIY drinks and chips, etc. They do serve alcohol.

the "street corn" was good but that is NOT street corn - call it something else it's kinda misleading if you know what street corn actually is and why is it served ice cold??? The burrito was awful - the ground beef came straight out of the fridge and was unseasoned. Who eats cold burritos? and it was not "FRESH"...Even after microwaving this thing it tasted awful and I couldn't eat it and threw it in the trash.

Very poor and awkward experience today (6/22). Ordered a steak burger, and while it was made with “steak”... that term is widely used for a thin pressed patty. It was the biggest thing. No matter, decided to eat it anyway because I really don’t consider myself to be that extra to complain about something like that. Bit in and was shocked at the pure saltiness. I even LOVE salt. I knew that feta is pretty salty so I removed it thinking that was the problem. Nope. Bit in again and felt sick. I couldn’t eat it. Walked up awkwardly, because again I don’t like conflict, and politely explained the situation. Asked if they wouldn’t mind just refunding the burger and I wouldn’t mind being charged for everything else rightfully so. They made it weird. Stared at me perplexed and I could already tell that they weren’t being receptive. I had only had two bites and 90% of the thing was still there, I clearly wasn’t trying to scam anyone and was disappointed myself already. I even explained to the guy that I removed the toppings and that literally it was the meat itself. And to top it off the guy who made it walked up and was like “Did I mess up your burger? What’s wrong with it?” This was already awkward enough without that. I told him that it “wasn’t anything personal”, that really I just wanted a refund because I couldn’t eat it. He then apologized and complained to his coworker “See! This is why I tell you all that we shouldn’t salt the burgers! This is too much.” Award again. They tell me they can’t refund just the burger because of their POS system and that they can refund the whole thing and recharge everything or I can get a gift card. I’m exasperated at this point and just say “whatever is easiest for you.” Because I’m literally just tired of this at this point. I get the gift card and watch everyone else eat. Then leave. I never want to go back. They made ME feel bad for saying anything. And I shouldn’t have to feel that way. Pure unprofessionalism coming from someone who specializes in customer service as a...

We've been coming here once a week for about 6 months. Not sure what is going on but the last two times we've gone to this same location we haven't had the best of experiences. Today during lunch, we were third in line and waited 20 minutes to order our food. There was one cashier who proceeded to answer the phone and take orders, one after another. In my opinion, I was there before those people calling which means you don't take their order first, you put them on hold. It was finally our turn to order and he again answers the ringing phone and takes their order as we were standing there looking at him, with a very long line behind us. The cooks messed up the guys food that ordered two people in front of us and we got our food before the person that ordered right in front of us? I'm not complaining that I got my food faster but if the tables were turned I would have been upset. Also, the last two times we've been my Baja Shrimp tacos were missing avocado and definitely not as great looking as they always have been. WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THIS...
