Rethink Food and Drink Oviedo — Restaurant in Oviedo

After looking at the photos of the food, I decided to give this place a try.

What I loved: They have fantastic Chai! That I am told is made in house and is absolutely worth $6.

What I didn't love: After looking at the food photos, I decided upon the Sedona bowl. When I received my bowl, it was such a small amount compared to the photos on the website that I almost said something thinking I might've made a mistake and ordered a small. After spending close to $25 on a 12oz chai and the Sedona bowl there was no mistake. It was delicious, but not terribly special. The scrambled eggs actually were a bit undercooked wirh runny whites which isn't a huge deal to me but a more squeamish person might be upset about. But the paltry amount was a huge turn off. I do love a good chai so will come back for this but will go home and make this dish myself.

I looked for Wi-Fi, but did not see it. Everything was locked but didn't ask either and was never offered.

Was not asked if I enjoyed my meal or anything. I believe it was the owner that was the only person behind the counter on a Friday at 11:30 AM..

I tried to order a juice shot to go with my meal to which (the owner) told me that they were currently out.

Been about 6 times at this point and got exactly the same thing. When the owner serves the service is good. The junior staff seem to not know much about espresso, why they would serve it in demitasse cups, what is crema. It’s a shame given the quality of the coffee is good.

The atmosphere is stark and cold. There’s been typically no music and not much going for it. There isn’t much warmth or reason to stay and order more. Not much of an upgrade from the “Clean Juice” in terms of atmosphere.

Had not tried the food as it doesn’t look appealing, but the coffee is pretty good when served properly (in a demitasse “for here”) and worth 4 stars. The atmosphere being black and metal and dark wood is stark and the bland to sometimes neutral / unwelcoming and therefore inconsistent service makes this less appealing than Starbucks which is a few feet away where I am greeted warmly almost every time.

Plus not taking cash at all isn’t cool. Not everyone has credit or debit cards and it isn’t as inclusive as it could be.

Plenty more work to make this a place I would recommend outside of the occasionally properly dished out...

I searched vegan food in google and this place popped up first. The gps led me to the back. Ended up finding it though.

Food - I ordered Huevos Rancho The food was fresh, the presentation was beautiful and the food was good.

Drink - I ordered the cherry smoothie with dates. It’s referenced as # but it was good. Sweet but not too sweet

Atmosphere - I like the parking, my preference of parking is this style. The actual location is nice, sleek, clean and modern. I prefer this setting because it’s quiet as someone who works from home I could work here.

Service - good service seems like the cashier/customer service/cook is a college student. She was nice and helpful. Also I hate fast food but sometime opt for Chic-Fil-A because it’s fast but I will go here instead the service was fast here not a long wait at all.
