Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Oviedo

Ordered delivery with their online system, expected delivery time of 55 minutes was stated. The online portal stated it was out for delivery after about 45 minutes. After waiting 90 minutes we called the store and were first told they did not have the order, then put on hold, then told it "just left.... like 10 minutes ago". When we told the employee the quoted 55 minute time and asked if they would do anything to accommodate the extra wait, they put us on hold, asked the manager, and then came back on and basically told us we were lying about the 55min wait time bc their system says 90 minute wait time. The manager made the employee relay the info. Unfortunately for them the email confirmation I received says 55min. The pizzas showed up after 120 minutes.

Pizza quality review: cold and dry, good thing my entire family was starving.

With so many pizza options out there I only fault myself for giving this chain a try. An unfortunate mistake that I won't repeat. Papa John's or Domino's has never let me down like this. Also, shout out to Destiny's Big City Pizza on 434, they have great "real" pizza and the price is certainly comparable. Should have gone with them.

On Saturday October 31st I called to place an order at 4:13 I ordered a large pizza, some Cajun bread and 2, 2 liters of soda. I was quoted a 15-20 min wait time. I arrived at the drive through at 4:27. The lady took my money and then asked me to go park for 10 minutes they were busy. Sure no problem. Came back to the drive though at 4:37 was told it would be a few minutes so I wait at the window. At 5:00 a new employee comes to the window and asks me who the order is for, then I am asked to pull around and get back in the drive through line.... I mention that I had already parked and the response was “it’s in the oven, we are very busy”. So your telling me the pizza I ordered at 4:15 is just now in the oven?!? Finally left with my pizza at 5:09 almost an hour after placing.

I’ve been here multiple times and prefer it over many other pizza places, however for the love of everything if you are this busy QUOTE BETTER AND LONGER IF NEEDED EFFIN WAIT TIMES!!!...

So I called and spoke to a girl placed my order. I got a pizza wings and a salad . She told me it would be a hour for delivery I said okay I had a door dasher contact me with my drop off time. Food got here I missing my salad so I call the store they said ok delivery guy is on way back will drop off shortly I pay 9 dollars for the wings and bread and this is what I get little pieces of chicken this is a joke I have always ordered there chicken wings good sizes but this is ridiculous you messed up dropping off my salad and on top of that piece of chicken should be a bit bigger then this for 9 dollars. I always order through them but don’t think they will get my service again. I’m really upset about this I know food cost has gone up but to serve chicken wings with one bite of chicken...
