I don't have unreasonably high standards for a restaurant. Quality customer service and good food are the main things I'm concerned with. This isn't the first Chili's that I have been to in the last 20 years. The location is quite new with an updated look inside. I was expecting the staff to be super on point with a newer location and everyone should have been freshly trained. There was a little confusion on where I was to be seated to begin with. It was around 8 PM so I was expecting to be seated at the bar. I was not and overheard, "don't seat him there, they're about to send her home." Not a good sign to send the bartender home. So, I was seated in a booth. A quick observation around the room and there were only 5 total tables seated. This should be smooth. I quickly reviewed the menu and knew what I wanted before my waiter arrived. When he got to the table and took my drink order I explained I was ready to order. He took my order and then brought my drink out. Then the wait began. I ordered the special on the back of the menu (drink, appetizer and main course.). The appetizer was chips and dip. Not a challenging item to prepare. My menu item was their most served dish, chicken crispers. As I waited I began to observed the room. The bar was empty and my waiter was now fixing a beer for the ladies at a table that had already consumed several (I hope someone pulled the keys). The staff from the kitchen was all huddled up with other wait staff around a dry erase board and some type of meeting was occurring. They surely weren't preparing food. I saw my waiter drop off tickets for another booth, check on the beer ladies, leave, come back to the beer ladies to take their picture, etc. I checked the clock. It'd been 20 minutes since my order was taken. If they can't get the appetizer of chips and dip out in 20 minutes, what's the point. I don't remember the last time I did it, but I walked out. I told the hostesses, "If he can't manage to get chips out to my table in 20 minutes, just cancel my order." Needless to say, I give...
Read moreIf there was a lower score I would give it. This was the second time eating here and I won't go back. The first the the service was good but the food was terrible this time ALL OF IT WAS AWEFUL. From start to finish. Our waitress was hateful and had no clue what she doing. And would stomp off and complain to other tables about ours. It took 20 min to get 3 mixed drinks and 2 of them were wrong. Sent them back and got something different but those were nasty. Some guy brought chips and salsa that wasn't ours but our friends got charged for them. Ordered a salad with French but apparently ya'll don't have that so put ranch on it and brought it out without even asking if that was acceptable. Food was burnt all around, drinks stayed emptied all our waiter could say was "sorry I am new". But the smart attitude and eye roll did it for me. The manager was non exsisnt and when we ask for her the waitress was offended. The manager had zero clue and did nothing for our table. Discounted the table a few bucks. The tickets were a disaster and had to fixed over 5 times and the waitress literally huffed and puffed and snached stuff out of our hands. We watched several tables come and go as we waited . Over our 2 hour horrible experience. We watched several tables leave because of no service. It just keeps going. Needless to say our table of 9 and all our friends won't we returning. Get better management who do something and waitresses who...
Read moreDined in on a Sunday around 3pm. Two adults. Two kids. One with an egg allergy. Upon arrival we were told we used the wrong door to enter. They have a "to-go" door and a dine in. No big. We went around to the correct door and was third party in line. Was seated in 5 minutes or less. Hostess was nice, and cleaned us a seat to set. When informed we had an egg allergy she confidentially stated "we don't use eggs here. No eggs!" People often think an egg allergy only includes eating an actual egg and not the batter, shared fryers and so on. Our server was nice, but we sat with nothing for about 10 minutes. Took another 10 to get drinks and then finally order. Waiter seemed knowledgeable on foods containing egg and double checked items for us with chef. (pepperoni pizza, corn on the cob and mandarin oranges served our two littles, one of which has the allergy). So our allergy forbode the chips and salsa. Nachos, fries.. chicken tenders among other options like all desserts. Mostly because of shared fryers.
We also ordered chicken fajita, and BBQ ribs. Both were decent. Nothing to write home about, but edible.
Parking was ample and all on one level so wheelchairs would work here. Seating a little snug but saw a few options a wheel chair would fit. Atmosphere was as you'd expect for a place going for a sports bar.
Bathrooms were clean and up to par.
For our four visitors we paid a whipping $70 for our...
