Ernesto’s Mexican Bar & Grill 54 — Restaurant in Owensboro

A Co-Worker & myself came here for lunch there was only 3 other tables that was occupied with 2 people at each table. It took about 15 minutes to be acknowledged at that point our drink orders was taken and we ordered guacamole as well. Drinks, chips, salsa was brought & our orders was taken. My Co-Worker ordered one beef taco & I ordered a beef chimichanga. we finally got our guacamole. Took forever to get our food & when we did we only took one bite because the beef tasted funny. We waited forever again because the waiter disappeared. A gentleman at one of the other tables went to the doorway of the kitchen & said can someone take our order we've been here 10 minutes. Our waiter came out didn't even ask us if everything was okay & I just spoke up and saif we only took one bit of our food because the beef tasted funny. He never apologized & just handed us a ticket & I said wait a minute you're going to charge us anyway even though we didn't eat. my Co-worker said it's okay let's just get out of here. Worst experience I've had at any restaurant & I WILL NOT BE BACK. I did leave a response on the main page of your website as well & never got a response by Phone or email. I guess this place doesn't care if customers are unhappy & had a terrible experience....

Myself, my 2 kids & grandkids(1.5 & 5 months) went for lunch yesterday. We all ordered it took a good 25 minutes or so to get our food mine was messed up, my son ordered the quesadilla and he got a kids meal didn't order a kid meal, my daughter's was fine. All the food came out at separate times so I just thought the babies would be out but nope about 20 minutes or so goes by and I flag down the server and asked where his kid mask was and she looked at me like I was crazy she never put his kid mask order in. So here's screaming because everyone is eating while he has no food(we were feeding him off our plates) and then they still proceeded to charge me for HER MESS UP!!! It was packed it was after church but it was noisy. I'll stick to going to the one...

We went to Ernestos today with 6 other people. Our orders were mixed up and took longer for some than others. The young lady came and collected 3 glasses (and straws) for refills and mixed them up. Didn't know whose was whose when she returned, but just handed them out anyway. My husband was given the wrong drink and when we mentioned it should have been regular not diet the young lady started to pick up another one that she had delivered across the table (that had already been drank from) to my husband! We stopped her because they were all diet as well. We won't be returning. We have to wonder what's going on in the back if they didn't even care whose drink they delivered to whom. We won't return to either Ernestos...
