We're seated instantly, took 15 mins to order drinks and we placed our order at the same time, with a random passing waitress we asked to help us. Took 10 mins to get our drinks. Then our waitress introduced herself. 25 mins after being seated. We told her we had placed our order! Appetizer came out Hot! We asked this man, If we could get some rolls? He sent some, yet told us they NOW come out with the meal? Drink glasses stayed empty for a good while, until we asked another waitress to help us. Asking her could she become our waitress? Drink glasses filled by this other waitress. She said she would get our waitress. We asked her if she could please check on our food? We had ordered 45mins ago... (Our waitress had not been passing our table?? She was at the other end of the restaurant.) She sent our waitress back to our table! This was only the second time we had even saw her! She asked if we were ok? "No We are still waiting on our food!" She said let me check on it. This was the only time I saw her enter the kitchen door near us. She brought out our entrees. We had been here now over an hour! Everything was cold. Asked for ketchup. I Got some from another table myself. I think she had went back to the other end of the restaurant. We ask the random waitress for our Checks, To go boxes and a MGR. She brought back the boxes. We got the checks brought back by our waitress. She laid them in the table and went back to the other end of the restaurant. We waited there to pay, talk to a MGR or Something! Then we PAID our checks with Cash laid it on the table! Still NO MGR... I had wrote down the times of each encounter with our service providers while waiting to pay. As we were leaving I asked is there a MGR here? The Hostess said just a min... The manager met Me at the door! Same guy that had brought us the appetizer! The same guy that said Rolls NOW only come out with the Meal? Everyone around us getting Rolls with their Drinks! I gave him my notes... I told him that I was disappointed in our service and our Food was Cold! We had only seen our waitress 4 times during our 1hour 30 min visit. Remember We had NO wait being seated. He said yeah, "She's New!" I asked him, Shouldn't He help his New hires to learn the JOB!!! Not blame them for being New?

Read moreMy husband and I have lunch at O'Charleys on a regular basis. We know the waiters and waitresses, and our service is always good from them. We are especially blessed when we have Mickey or Buster. We are great fans of the Chicken Harvest Soup and rarely get anything else. Over the last several months, the taste, thickness, quality, content, and quantity have substantially declined. Our last experience was on 5/16/25 2:08 PM. There were only about 2-3 very small pieces of chicken in the bowls. One bowl had only 1 noodle in it. One of the waiters saw it and took it back to the kitchen of their own accord to rectify it, and the cook argued with them about adding more to it. That's unsatisfactory! Very poor customer service!Perhaps they need a course informing them that without the customer, they have no job. The waiter was unrelenting, so they did add a few more noodles even though it did not change the fact that it was tasteless and thin, as if watered down. We were first told that they had no soup, and then all at once, they came up with 3 bowls. On several occasions, we have been told that they were out of Chicken Harvest Soup "WAY" before lunch was over. I'm not sure why they are not making enough to satisfy the lunch crowd, but it is a problem and losing your company business. If this is due to a cutback on help, this too needs to be rectified. Several times, the soup had been watered down, as if they were trying to stretch what they had. This is a problem as well. The soup should be consistent each time. After all, that's what we are paying for. The portion does not even come up to the first rim on the bowl. I actually checked this at home in a similar sized bowl, and that equates to about 4 oz or less per bowl. That's a pretty good mark-up based on what we're paying. Overall, we are becoming very disappointed in the quality of your product. It may be time to check what's going on here. Read moreI'll start with saying that everyone should try any Place one time for themselves, your experience may be different. It may be positive. But this was not the case today. I've eaten many times at O'Charley's before and had a decent meal. Not Bad for the price. On this occasion, As soon as we sit down I could tell that the table had not been wiped. Just dishes cleared and we were sat next. I could see finger prints on the table. I grabbed the hosts and ask them to to possibly wipe it down for us. He comes back with some liquid in a bottle and sprays table. After wiping (poorly, table was still soaked) I touch the table again and it's appearance was better but its texture was for the worse, extremely sticky. Not sure what kind of liquid they be using to clean, but it made me feel like I was playing at the play place in McDonald's with 26 toddlers. So as the server walks up she noticed that I'm wiping table down with my own napkin to try to get it from being so sticky. She does what she can and she brings us some more napkins. She's trying. She offered us some appetizers but I'm in no mood. She then brings us bread, at least what I think was bread. It had the appearance of bread but hard coldness of a lump of coal. I'm kidding obviously but the bread was not fresh. I ordered a sirloin steak medium rare that came out like beef jerky. Okay maybe it wasn't that bad but when you ask for medium rare you expect to be at least a little bit of red and it wasn't even pink. And I'm not one send food back to the kitchen.
