They got our order wrong and we didn't notice it until we paid by credit card ( I know - shame on us. It wasn't our "normal" order, but we still probably should have realized the total was too high.) So we explained and the order got straightened out. We got a refund and a "receipt" for the refund. We also got what I thought was a receipt with our food (even though we didn't ask for it.)
My husband went back to get dessert (frozen custard cones - bought one, one was free from a survey.) He said he wasn't given a receipt.
When we were brought the (dripping) cones, I asked for the receipt. The woman ( I think the owner, but I'm not sure) replies she keeps track of her money. Well, good for her. She said they don't give out receipts unless you ask for them. Apparently the other Culver's we went to last week didn't get THAT memo, because we got a receipt from them.
Then she said it won't come with a survey. I tried to explain it wasn't about a survey.
I wanted to know what they charged us since when we first ordered our food, they overcharged us and that's how we figured out they messed up our order. Not really trusting them at this point. What's there to stop them from charging your credit card whatever and bringing you what you ordered?
What I got out of all this was out of the approximately 10 times a week we eat out or carry out, we won't have to worry about this particular Culver's location being one of our choices.
If you get anything out of this review: Don't order cones with your meals, burgers, salads whatever, because if they bring them out already dripping when you just order cones, just imagine how melted they'll be after you eat your other food. You have to ask for a receipt if you want one. Some woman at the Oxford in Culver's can keep track of her money and...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst Culver's I've ever experienced and this time was the last straw and will not be coming back. Waited in the drive thru for over 20 min with only 2 vehicles ahead of me. I ordered the new pub Burger and a chocolate malt. The malt was literally the same consistency as water and my burger was a mess and didn't have bacon on it. I walked inside to get my food remade and literally counted atleast 12 employees working maybe more with half of them just standing around doing nothing. There was maybe 2-3 customers inside eating and that was it. Why did it take that long to make my food and to make it wrong and like crap!? I've been to atleast 5 other Culver's and they are all 100x better then this place. Forsure will not be coming back witch is unfortunate because I live 2 miles from this location.
Update: idk why but this is the only Culver's I have issues with. Ordered a burger in the drive thru with customized toppings and they got it wrong. Also ordered a malt and didn't receive a spoon, straw or napkins. Ordered chicken tenders with a honey mustard side and it was exploded in my bag with almost all of it over my food and had a hair in it. Will...
Read moreWhen you arrive you are greeted with a friendly greeting. When you get to the counter you are greeted with a smile and someone asks you what they can make fresh for you. It's wonderful. This Culver's in particular is very friendly.
The menu items are all delicious, but the butter burgers are fabulous!
Once you have paid for your order you are given a number and someone brings your food to your table within 5 minutes or less, usually more like 2 minutes.
There is a condiment bar and you get your own condiments, and you get your own drinks at the drink station.
The atmosphere is great. For fast food, this has got to be the fanciest atmosphere available. Very very nice.
When you're done, you just put your trash in the trash bin and put your tray on top with the other trays and you're done.
Delicious food! Beautiful environment! And no TVs to distract you away from the person you are there to dine with! Perfect!
Finally, when you are ready to leave, someone says goodbye and wishes you a good day as you walk out the door.
If you've never tried Culver's, you are missing out on a...
