G's Pizzeria Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Oxford Charter Township

This place is dull. The service isn't good, the food isn't good and the atmosphere is lacking. We went there with a large group and not one person actually enjoyed the food. My sister and I both ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and you could tell it was filled with cheap ingredients and no love put into making it. I spent the entire night feeling like I was going to vomit after eating this salad. My husband ordered the Southwest Chicken wrap and it tasted like a soggy burrito. It was not appetizing at all! We had friends order the Caprese chicken and both of them said it was gross and dry. The only thing that was decent on their plate they said was the garlic bread. I tried the pizza and you can tell they use the lowest quality cheese. I was trying to put my finger on what it tasted like and it hit me...HIGH SCHOOL LUNCH PIZZA. Our pizzas were also VERY undercooked and kind of flopped when you pick up a piece. NOT good pizza at ALL. My husband ordered a beer and told the server it was warm, she said "Oh, let me ask the bartender about that". Never heard anything back, never asked him if he wanted to try a different one...just was left with a warm beer. Overall, if you want good pizza, good breadsticks and a much better tasting meal--there are SEVERAL better options within a 10 mile radius. Check out Sick Pizza, Red Knapps or drive over to Metamora to get Gregs. ALL are much better options than this place. 0/10 rating for me! Sorry guys, hope you can do better. Also, the single stall bathroom on the left does NOT lock. You might want to get that fixed! Had someone walk in on my twice after locking the door both times.

Update- the response from restaurant is a blatant lie. We were way kinder then was warrented.

If an owner came to table, they did not introduce themselves or enquire as to how overall experience was. Did not ask if the only issue was receiving the wrong pizza.

Interesting that I left a one star yesterday that is not here.

Oxford location gave us the worst service I have ever experienced .

We had to ask for drinks three times before received. Not once were we offered a refill .

We were informed by the waitress that we could build our own pizza so the first we built the second we did a half and half. When the pizza came singularly I might add they brought us one. The second one that we had explained to her. They went back to get our other pizza and clearly when it took 20 minutes they had to make it. When they brought it out they brought the one they had already brought. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the correct pizza. Our waitress never apologized. No manager came over. Nothing was discounted .

Service was awful! There was barely anybody at the bar too, which is where we sat. Our bartender visited us maybe 5x in the span of over an hour and that's only because we had to get her attention multiple times. Didn't ask if we needed refills, if we needed something else, etc. The fried pickles also need to state they're SPICY... I couldn't even eat more than a few. Fried pickles aren't typically spicy, but whatever they used as batter or the pickles made it barely edible. When I asked for our bill politely while she stocked the bar and talked to another employee, she then came back and very rudely told us to "enjoy the rest of the night" in a snappy manner. This was my first time here as well and I really don't want to go back after this experience, no matter how close it...
