Frequently, when I attempt to swing by 20 minutes or less before the stated closing time, I find that despite their sign still being on and the employees still clearly visible inside, they ignore attempts to place an order at the menu or even to get their attention at the window when they are standing no more than a few feet away. It is rude, unprofessional and completely ridiculous. If it was my business, I would definitely be replacing the night manager. Its not like I was the only customer affected either, as tonight a car was just pulling out when I arrived and an SUV was in front of me at the window honking while being ignored when I pulled up to the menu. If you want to close at 11:40pm, then change the store hours rather than advertising a closing time of midnight, as then I could plan accordingly & come in before the new earlier closing time. It would be one thing if this was just a one-off type of thing, because life happens & people deserve to be given a bit of understanding on those rare occasions. I rarely, if ever, bother to post a negative review or contact management over a negative experience, as I generally prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt that maybe they are just having a bad day or something like that, but this has happened the last 4 times I have tried to make a late night snack run over the past month or so, which indicates a problem with the night staff & their ability or willingness to do their job during business hours, which is unacceptable. The picture I am including was taken 17 minutes before closing today, after just such an experience. What a joke. Hopefully the person that replaces the woman that runs the place at night currently, when she is inevitably replaced for failing to even serve customers until the restaurant is actually supposed to close, takes more pride in their work & the...
Read moreI understand dinner is a very difficult and busy time. But this was completely unacceptable. Told them about 3 times at the counter for well-done fries. And still received fries that were not crispy and what was asked for. Not to mention how long we had to wait for our food. It looks to become a habit of a lot of workers here to be drive-thru focused, and prefer not to even pay attention to the lobby. On another topic, apparently people cannot listen and do what they’re told by who’s running. I heard this man loud and clear state that he needed this female employee to come up to the front and help in lobby. When she didn’t, he proceeded to tell her to drop everything she’s doing to come up front. When I tell you I see this girl come up front only 10 minutes later! I was in disbelief. We had to leave the store because we waited 12 minutes for these fries to be redone, and was now in a hurry. We never got the fries, we felt incredibly neglected by this shift. I have worked at this McDonald’s before being transferred for a day. And NO ONE should EVER be that slow, inconsiderate, and then not even take courtesy to make sure the order was redone hastily. Worst service I’ve ever received at a McDonald’s and will not be...
Read moreThe McDonald’s in Oxford is a excellent choice for a cheap but tasty meal. They offer excellent deals! Depending on the time of day one visits the restaurant, the wait time can vary from three minutes to fifteen. I would like to note that this particular McDonald’s location is a frequent destination if the local high school students. After school gets out, this location is often swamped with adolencents. Additionally, after Friday night football games at Oxford High School, this McDonald’s is typically completely filled with high schoolers. Not to say this is an issue, I just wanted to mention some high traffic time frames. The only reason I did not give the Oxford McDonald’s five stars is due to the staff not wanting to take your order at the register now that they have kiosks in the lobby. When you wait by the counter, the staff will strongly encourage you to utilize the kiosk to make your order. I dislike using the kiosk so I essentially force them to take my order at the cash register. Other than that, Oxford McDonald’s is an excellent location to grab a quick bite to eat. Bathrooms are typically clean and the drive through moves along at a...
