Hit & miss, but not great. Went two weeks ago, wife ordered 12 oz. Rib-eye medium, broccoli, green beans and it was good. I ordered Whiskey bacon burger with crispy onions and fries. My burger was missing the bacon & onions. When I told waitress she informed me they were out of crispy onions, then said "Do you still want the bacon"? I said yes but had to wait for it to be made. The thing is, the waitress never noticed and would have been left off if I hadn't said something. FAST FORWARD two weeks...we went again, this time we both ordered the 12 oz. Rib-eye because her last one was good...BIG MISTAKE. We ordered cooked medium, she took 1 bite and spit it out and said meat tasted rotten...so I smelled mine and it didn't smell right so I cut a small piece and same thing, the meat was not fresh. We sent them both back and waitress asked if we wanted new ones and we both said no, forget it. Mind you, this was all after we ordered "Neighborhood chicken nachos", but got beef instead (Which actually tasted a bit off). After telling waitress, she went to get chicken nachos and came back with them pretty quick, and they must have rushed cause some of the nacho chips were burned. Also had very little chicken. The ones we got 2 weeks earlier were much better, but did have a few rotten jalapeno's, and a few fresh jalapeno's. Also, this time, the water we ordered had a musty taste like their filter needed changed. My wife requested lemon with her water and they gave her 1 slice of fresh lemon, and 1 slice of spoiled/rotting lemon. I asked for lime with my water, same thing, 1 fresh slice, 1 discolored spoiled slice. Also they did the same thing with my "Special margarita"...1 fresh lime slice and 1 spoiled slice. It's like they are trying to use old spoiled lemon and limes rather than throw it out. Also made me feel like they must think we're stupid and wouldn't notice...same with the jalapeno two weeks earlier. Very uncalled for. Also, after our bad steaks were taken back to the kitchen, a female floor manager came out and had an attitude like she thought we must be wrong, stating she had just cut those steaks herself this morning. BTW, My wife worked in a restaurant kitchen for 25 years, we are both very good cooks, we know bad meat when we smell/taste it. And she did not even apologize to us and just walk away. The waitress did apologize though. I would have like to see that floor manager eat that steak......I'm sure she wouldn't. I told the waitress, if you wouldn't eat the food being made, you sure shouldn't be serving it to customers. It will be awhile before we go back...IF we go back at all. Very...
Read moreFirst they forgot to write down our name , we had to wait outside for a long time in the heat, and realized people was going in front of us, so we brought it to their attention. When the lady went to seat us, we wanted a booth but she said due to the corna virus she could not set us back their that their table was dirty and tried sitting us across from somebody which was not 6 ft apart, we asked for the booth in the back still, we still wanted to be 6ft apart. Table got cleaned, the lady that seated us dropped the paper menus on the table and they landed on the table, that was rude. I looked down a big steak knife was in the isle, and white stuff like food was all over this black half wall, food was every where in the floor, they didnt have alot of food they once had, and the wall where we was sitting had mold above it, the fork had food sti) on it, so we went up to the lady that was running the door the one who seated us and told here we was not eat there, and we was sorry, she gave us a look and said OKAY... I will never go back unless they clean the place up, mold will make you sick. And fir that kind of money need more or the menu, instead of fries or potatoes. It's sad because this used to be a great place to take our family. Oh another couple that was seated realized what was going on before we was seated and called us to their table to tell us they was treated bad to, the couple was very irritated at their service as well . I really don't know how they passed inspection, the mold on the wall, and food on the wall as food all over the floor. Read moreLet me start by saying this is the worst experience I have had at an Applebee's. We went there on a Saturday afternoon there were only about 5 tables occupied in the restaurant. The 1st thing I noticed was that when our waitress brought our drinks which there were four in our party she tried to carry them all at once instead of getting a drink tray. She opted to press our drinks against her dirty smock she was wearing. The reason it was so dirty is because I noticed she carries everything in this way including people's entree's. Our appetizer was cold so it needed to be put back in the microwave for a few more minutes. Then after what seemed like an extended wait for the amount of people in the restaurant we got our food. Now of course I would have no problem waiting especially for good food. But during the wait your waitress should at least check and see if you need a refill on drinks. Ours abandoned us. When we finally got the food it was mediocre at best. The cold slaw is nasty by the way. Now I understand that occasionally you get saddled with a bad server but I did notice that another couple was not having very much luck with their service either.
