Burger King — Restaurant in Oxford

Zero stars wasn’t an option.

This is one of the most filthiest restaurants in Oxford and I should know cause I worked there. The kitchen smells like feet and a** because of constant food being thrown on the floor and wasted grease they let linger for days at a time, the coworkers have attitudes and aren’t as inviting to new employees they rather be snooty and passive aggressive than actually teach you the fundamentals of burger kings true restaurant protocol, there is a musty smell as soon as you walk in the staff door, many of the night shift employees do little to no work and troll customers. If your looking for a first job do not work here they’ll take complete advantage of you and will force the workload on new employees which they call “fresh meat”, meanwhile they sit back on cellphones with gloves on and they do not change the gloves unless a manager is there which is a huge sanitary problem. I personally have seen an employee wipe sweat and continue to use the same gloves to make people’s food. The food prep/ meal making area was horrendous and repulsive I had to take extra time to fully clean it which I was scolded for cause to them it didn’t matter as long as the food got out fast. They are so concerned with their drive thru time that they rush people’s orders, causing them to make countless returns and angry customers became a daily routine and I was sick of it. Also there was a homophobic shift leader named Gabe he’s quite big and hovers over everyone he gets really sweaty and it drops onto the food which made me starve myself during breaks or I would make my own food before I went to break, it was so nasty in there it’s like a jail kitchen. I can honestly say everyday walking in to this establishment they never failed to disgust me, also they seem to have an problem with scheduling it’s very confusing and causes problems every week I didn’t come in on a weekend cause the last work day showed I would be off but I was suspended out of anger and poor representation of the schedule, when I returned I seen my name on the schedule one day and the rest of the week was clear after I finished that work day I didn’t come in and I never heard from any of the managers again not a hey your fired or you need to come into work today just complete zero communication and I’m actually glad I had the pleasure of walking away from this restaurant cause being fired from that place would be an utter disgrace.

Ps. The restaurant is filthy and they do whatever they want to until a District manager or a health inspector comes by then they put on this fake persona of cleanliness and cookie cutter service for a day and then it’s back to Hell’s Kitchen until they come by again which I hoped they would catch them but it seem they never did...do yourself a favor and never eat here, i wouldn’t even trust the free water they used to give out that’s the easiest thing and even it would come back from customers with black particles in it and on one occasion a eyelash this...

My fiancés experience:: My fiancé and I just went to Burger King on in Oxford on Highway 21 South after waiting for 10 minutes at the speaker with nobody in line, finally I gave them my mobile order name, we get to the window and still nobody in line had us wait another 10 minutes at the door. We had ordered the 2 for $6 Quarter Pound Single Sandwiches and had asked for ONLY cheese, mayo, ketchup, and extra pickles. We get home, and there's onions on it. I just worked a 12 hour day and have to be at work in the morning and so I called and informed them (the lady wouldn't tell me her name because she hung up on me) that they had put onions on the sandwiches. I was very nice saying I didn't want to go back out tonight, she said well just take them off. Horrible, horrible customer service. We paid for our food to be made correctly. And when I told her my fiancé can still taste the onions after removing them so he still cannot eat them. She called me a liar. Saying onions do not affect a burger. This is the CLEANEST BK that I have ever come into contact with!! That's the truth!!!! I do mean clean!!! Even the parking lot is clean .I didn't see any trash outside!!! None!!!!!
