Lickin Good Donuts — Restaurant in Oxford

Hey! I came in there this morning with my mom to get a donut for my birthday. My family and I have always had a good experience here. The donuts are great and the employees are normally very nice and welcoming. However, this morning was a different story. The girl who took our order was very rude and immature. She ended up giving me the wrong donut and all I did was walk back in and say hey I ordered chocolate sprinkle not blue sprinkle. She must have misheard me which is no problem. However, she was very rude and said you said blue and started laughing. Then she said but I got you. So I corrected her there is no reason to speak to a customer that way. Especially, when it was her mistake. I ordered the same thing every time I go. I tried to call back to speak to the owner/manager but she answered and claimed there was no one there for me to speak to. She was laughing on the phone and said I acted uppity about it. She ended up hanging up the phone on me. I know she will most likely to lie to you about the situation but I wound not waste my time typing this review if it wasn’t the truth. This is not something I want to do on my birthday. I just don’t want you to lose any business because of her....

Okay so I've always come here for the sausage and cheese kolaches, mostly because everyone is always super sweet and friendly. But today i thought we would try something new and got some regular glazed donuts. My father at the same time was apparently getting a dozen glazed from the new Dunkin Donuts. When we got home and realized this we decided to do a comparison and this is what we found:

Dunkin Donuts: Their donuts felt more substantial, heavy with a thicker dough and more of a chew, pleasant enough but an unremarkable basic donut. They reminded me of a slightly better Walmart donut.

Lickin Good: Their donuts were on the lighter side with a beautifully airy and melt in your mouth texture, the flavor was more pronounced and had a bit more of a fried taste . These remind me of Krispy Kreme but with a better flavor.

Our conclusion? We have decided that we will no longer be getting our donuts from...

First of all, they have alot of doughnuts to choose from. By the way, they all look amazing. We got 1/2 dozen assorted & they are really good. Also,I got a jalapeño/ cheese kolache.....It is so Good! My husband got the cinnamon roll( it's HUGE), he said it was delicious ! The girl that served us this morning was just so friendly. Before we checked out, I saw these cinnamon doughnut holes that looked so good, she gave us 4 to just try. Those are the best doughnut holes that I have ever tasted.
