A little about Their backstory;. The founder was born in Palermo, Italy and moved with his family to America in the 1950s, settling in the New York area. Memories of growing up to the smells and tastes from the local bakery was a terrific experience. He worked for a major airline for 35 years, traveling extensively around the world, always intrigued by the many cultures and variations of food he discovered.
After being a successful business owner and being involved in the food industry for over 50 years, in 2015 his passion for food gave birth to Music City Bagels. This was the driving force to open a true authentic New York Style Bagel Bakery/Café in his community of Anniston, Alabama.

Read moreThey store many products in non food grade containers. Such as the liquid eggs they use are in common Lowes buckets that can contain harmful plastics and chemicals that can leach into the product. Also, not a single open product was dated and when I suggested to date the products I was told that they knew the dates there was no reason to write them. On day two of working there the owner commented on the fact that I was "hard to read" which to me is odd that he would even make this comment. On day 3 after having not a single customer in the 4 hours we were there he said, "We just don't have the business so I can't afford you until business picks up. When it does I will call you." This was three months ago and I never heard another word. Also, the only good value is the breakfast "sandwiches". $11 for a bagel with a few pieces of sandwich turkey and a piece of cheese is absolutely absurd. The bagels are good but with non food grade containers and no dates being used I would stay wary of the practices this...
Read moreI was super excited to see that a bagel shop opened up within minutes of anywhere in Oxford and Anniston. The family and I had lunch there and let me tell you it was perfect. We were pleasantly greeted as soon as we walked up to the register to order. The place looked clean and Sylvia was patient with us as we decided on what to order. It was a hard decision to make. Everything on the menu looked great. Our order was taken and prepared fresh. I ordered their signature sandwich The Caderas. It came with a fresh bagel, Mortadella Genoa Salami, Mozzarella, Provolone, and Aldo’s Original Olive Salad. It was incredible! Even the pickle spear was outstanding. My wife and son were very pleased with their selections as well. I look forward to making this location a regular stop for a quick bite for my family. If your in the area stop by and see for yourself how great...
