City Bowl Express — Restaurant in Oxnard

City Bowl Express is one of the best Chinese restaurants in all of Oxnard. For one, you get a legitimate bang for your buck. For under ten dollars you will definitely get a big meal. Whenever I go there they always pile so much food onto my plate. I have gone there so many times that they remember my face and always greet me with a smile. Food is yummy but stay away from the entrees that have vegetables such as the Kung Pao and broccoli beef. I decided to try the broccoli beef the other day and I'm not even exaggerating when I say it was two pieces of beef and all broccoli which is fine if you are just craving vegetables lol. I had tried the spicy chicken that comes with onions before too and it was all onion with a few pieces of chicken such a rip off. This isn’t a sit-down food place from what I can tell. However, the food is SO DELICIOUS, they have my favorite glass noodles, teriyaki chicken, BBQ chicken, crab Rangoon, egg rolls… everything I’ve tried has been really good. They even have horchata that is really good too - and I normally don’t like that drink but it’s pretty awesome from here.
