Had the most unpleasant and rude experience at this location today. I came in around 2:40pm and ordered a regular sized half white chocolate, half hazelnut Iced Coffee, with extra ice. The young lady at the register was absolutely friendly, by the way. It was not until I made it over to the coffee bar side that I had this experience. (Ps. I worked at CBTL on sea bridge just a few years ago :) I watched the young lady at the bar put a few ounces of water onto a measuring cup, add two shots of espresso, add white chocolate powder only, pour it over the ice and topped it off with non fat milk. (I asked for half hazelnut) I was not aware this was my drink until she placed it on the counter and called my name. I walked over and told her I ordered the wc/hz iced coffee w/extra ice and it did not have any milk. She seemed a little upset but apologized and said she would remake it. I noticed she added quite a bit of water (looked like more than 6oz) so I once again asked her for extra ice on that IC, she ignored me. I then asked her about the ounces of water and asked if it was 6oz as I know/knew a regular IC is made with 6oz of room temp filtered water. She proceeded to tell me with a bit of an aggressive tone that it was 8oz but could be made with 6oz. She continued making my drink and began having a conversation with another employee on "cold bar" and asked her how many ounces of water are used for a regular IC drink. Her co worker reassured her it was 8oz for a regular size and the young lady making my drink proceeded to tell her "well tell her then" in Spanish, referring to me. I let her know I also spoke Spanish, just in case they needed to address anything to me or "tell me" something. She finished making my drink, without half hazelnut but I did not want to bother her again as I seemed to have unintentionally bothered the young lady quite a bit already. She placed my drink on the counter and did not say a single word. I asked for her name as I grabbed my drink, she ignored me and walked toward he back, I am assuming the employee break room area. I asked the other co worker for her name, she did not share it wth me the first time, or said it so low I was not able to hear so I asked again, she made a unpleasant face and in a lowly tone said "Samantha." I said "thank you"and walked away. I honesty did not want that coffee anymore. Such an experience can really leave a sour taste in your mouth. Working at a CBTL for several years, I first hand understand the importance of acknowledging customers, meeting a customers needs, and treating everyone in a kind and respectful manner. My intent was never to be rude and I believe I was not rude but I also did not expect to be treated poorly as a customer. Customers are who keep us operating and in business also. I am positive I am not the first person that has been treated like this. You have certainly lost my business. I understand loosing one person may not make a difference, but several people having the same sour experience will indefinitely have a negative impact at this location. I really hope this matter...

I don’t know if they got new staff, but the wait times are terrible, no one seems to know what they’re doing, the iced blended drinks are watered down, and they can’t follow simple instructions. To begin, last month I went in when it was slow and I was the only person in line. I ordered only 4 drinks yet somehow I was the last to leave after waiting OVER An HOUR for my drinks while some people were accidentally receiving double what they ordered. Hoping that they would be better after some time, I went back yesterday and my grandma went in to order the drinks by showing them a text message of our orders. When we received our drinks, one was completely wrong, it was WHITE when the drink we asked for was supposed to be BROWN. So, we went back in to ask them to remake it which they did. However, while they got the base of the drink correct (a pure chocolate IB), they added an extra ingredient to our drink that we didn’t ask for. So, we went back in to ask them to remake it again, to which they responded saying that they couldn’t remake it again despite getting it completely wrong TWICE and that they couldn’t remake ”tried their best” with the messages they were shown, as if the messages were confusing. Also the general manager that was there this morning was very friendly and helped me locate the tea that I wanted on the shelf. I would definetely go back for more Dream Tea Lattes. When you buy a box of tea you get a free cup of tea and the best part is that you get to pick the flavor!. I had already purchased my tea and didn't know I could get a free latte, so the general manager offered to give me the bag of tea in the cup and so that I can then make it whenever I wanted.
