McDonald’s is a global phenomenon that has revolutionized the fast food industry. It has over 38,000 locations in more than 100 countries. It serves burgers, fries, nuggets, and shakes that are familiar, convenient, and satisfying. One of its locations is in Ozark, Missouri, a quaint town near the scenic Lake of the Ozarks. I visited it one morning, hoping to find a decent breakfast and a good cup of joe.
I was wrong.
McDonald’s in Ozark, Missouri, is a disappointment. It is a place where you encounter long waits, poor service, and incorrect orders. It is a place where you always seem to leave with a wrong food order or when they get the food order correct it’s an unpalatable mess. It is a place where you leave unhappy, unsatisfied, and frustrated.
The worst part of my most recent visit was a coffee latte. It was supposed to be a hot, creamy, and sweet beverage that would wake me up and energize me. Instead, it tasted like a flavorless egg drop soup that made me gag and spit it out. When I finally got pulled over where I could pull off the lid and peer in, I would have sworn they had served me an Indian Curry. I have no idea how they managed to ruin such a simple drink, but they did. And they just smiled and waved as I pulled onto Highway 65.
I have tried McDonalds in Ozark on several occasions and after having stayed away for several months my wife and I decided to give it another go. McDonald’s may not have the best tasting food but in my experience, it is at the very least consistent. Except for McDonalds in Ozark which seems to be the major exception to this rule.
I was so frustrated that I kept the coffee all day long while I worked and late that evening returned to McDonalds to get my money back. I think they depend on their customers hitting the road quickly after they receive their order never to be seen again. I surprised them.
I left the coffee that looked like Indian Curry and tasted like Egg Drop Soup on the counter in front of the manager.
And I left McDonald’s in Ozark, Missouri.
And I I’ll never return. I finally learned my lesson.
McDonald’s in Ozark, Missouri, is not worth your time or money. It does not live up to the standards and expectations of the McDonald’s brand we all know and love. It definitely does not deliver on its promise of quality, service, and value that we have come to expect from the...
Read more09:58 Saturday July 15 2023. Placed order for curbside, spot 4. Ordered 2 french vanilla lattes. Drive thru was packed. Lobby was packed. Order went through on app at 10:00. Sat and waited and waited. Finally walked inside at 10:35, and waited some more. Finally got to register and told cashier, as I showed her my McDonald's email confirming my order, that I never received it. They check their "screen" and it shows it was delivered to spot 4, like 30 minutes earlier. So then they ask me, what I ordered. Once again, I show my email confirming order. So they go find the kid who is delivering curbside. And he says he delivered that to customer a long time ago. So they ask him, spot 4? He says, no, he had spot 1 and spot 4 orders and went out to spot 1 first and gave them their order. BUT spot 1 said the remaining cups he was holding ( spot 4 order ) was theirs as well, so he just gave them to them. REALLY? Well, this caused my order to show completed, as the dishonest people in spot 1 stole my order, and I sat for almost a half hour before walking in. Why didn't curbside delivery guy ask to see verification on what the people in spot 1 claim was theirs as well? I'm no technological wizard, but using the app as I did, you always get a confirmation email containing info on your entire order...what you order, time, order number, price, payment details. Several months ago, when doing curbside at this location, I was asked to show my confirmation email, which I was happy to do. Perhaps they should go back to doing that. Well, they made me 2 lattes after all that. 45 minutes total to get my order, and I ended up not being where I needed to be...
Read moreOrdered in DT, had to pull up to 3rd window and wait about 10 min. When the girl finally gave us the food, I let her know we had a 2nd order, she didn't say anything but shut the window on us , I then got out and went inside, I took the gravy I ordered with me because it wasn't even half way full, manager Hailey was very nice about it..she fixed the gravy bowl for me . And got the other order bagged up for me. When I got home, the first order was messed up, as I had Front counters special sandwiches instead of my own..called Hailey , she is going to fix it and again was very nice and very apologetic. The other employees however acted as if I had messed their order up. The girl that brought the food and just shut the window in our face , needs to be talked to ,it's very rude to make someone wait 10 min for food and then shut the window in your face as your telling them you have another bag. This McDonald's has really went down hill in the last couple of years, the old crew, that Jesse maggard had was much more friendly, efficiant , fast and more accurate. The changes made have definitely not been good on this place. I will be going to the other location from this point on. The only good thing about this visit...
