I ordered in one rainy weekend night and about 45 minutes passed and I hadn't gotten my pizza. No one picked up the phone and so being slightly hangry I drove my over to see what the problem was. When I got there, I busted past the "help wanted" sign ready to go full Karen and demand my food. But any frustration I had dissipated when I saw two people working their behinds off as fast as possible, holding down a six person shift by themselves. The young gentleman (Jaimie I believe) genuinely apologized for the delay as he continued knocking out pizza after pizza, explaining that due to employee shortage they were backed up. The older gentleman asked my name and I realized that he was also doing deliveries while one person handled the orders. I was in awe of the system they were running and the level of work being put in. I hope that they are at least partial owners of that franchise location or being paid handsomely because they're keeping that business open. I would say anyone with issues on delivery speed in that situation should jump behind the counter and help out. It's not fair that they were in such a situation, but they were working as fast and as hard as they could and the pizza was absolutely great quality as well. Kudos to them, I hope they get some more employees soon and that the negative reviews on occasionally rushed orders don't affect those hard-working individuals. Most others would have looked at that workload and quit on the spot, I'm really writing this in the hopes that those two will be rewarded/promoted ...yes there was a delay but it was understandable. It's not employees fault if a company doesn't...
Read moreI've had the worst experience with this Domino's Pizza. I've ordered delivery many times from this place and haven't had a bad experience until a couple weeks ago when they messed up my order and it's only gotten worse since then. I ordered a custom pizza, a simple buffalo chicken pizza without onions and extra buffalo sauce. Not that difficult, right? It showed up with onions and very little, if any buffalo sauce. I brushed it off as a fluke and ordered the same a week later. Same results. This has happened the past four or five times. Finally I decided that maybe that couldn't handle such a "complicated" order so I ordered a simple, large, pan Pepperoni pizza instead, in addition to two other medium pizzas. The lady on the phone, the manager, said they couldn't make a large pan pizza so I changed it to two medium pizzas... in addition to the two other medium pizzas of course. When the order showed up, there was only two medium pizzas, claiming that I had only ordered two pizzas. I explained the situation and the manager proceeded to argue with me about what I had ordered. After this latest ordeal, I will never order from this Domino's...
Read morePizza was delicious. That being said, while waiting for delivery my phone went off for hardly a second, so quick that I thought it was a text and saw I had a missed call. Had to call back several times to find out that it was my delivery driver. I informed him that I missed a call from an unfamiliar number and he responded with a very rude “yeah it’s dominos.” I then had to ask why he called and he said sarcastically “I call when I’m 30 seconds away”(keep in mind I’d been trying to call back for almost 5 minutes). Then when the order arrived I sign the receipt and gave it back to him. He then passed it back to me and told me to give him a tip. “A dollar, two dollars everything helps.” I’ve personally never been begged for a tip before so I gave him $5 even though my financial situation isn’t that great. Not only that but from personal experience working as a delivery driver, I know they are paid minimum wage, unlike servers who are paid significantly less and need tips to help make minimum wage. The entire experience with this driver was bizarre and strange. Again pizza-5 stars....
