Boss Burrito — Restaurant in Paducah

I'm from California so my Mexican food standards are high. I love the food from here, it's the best since I've moved here to Kentucky. The one suggestion I have is for the price I feel like they could atleast throw in some chips & salsa to make you feel like it's definitely worth the you paid. Tortillas aren't very expensive & worth the effort. As much as I love their food here & I've been coming regularly for a couple years now is that the little Mamacita lady that works there now is not really people friendly & they have a burrito card that says if you buy 5 burritos you get one free well no place on the card does it say one punch on the card per order & the lady refuses to punch the card more then once regardless of how many you buy. Should I have to buy one at a time, go to my car a minute & return for another order? I've tried hard to refrain from saying anything at all but once again gave it a chance today because I love the food but the lady has attitude with me that even my son senses & sees it. Been nothing but patient & kind but .... Also I usually order my burrito without meat so you may think it'd be a price break or they would compensate that with other ingredients but the lady tells the people making it not to & if you ask for let's say more rice, she is absolutely watching like a hawk to charge more. It's nearly $15 for a burrito so you can eat at a sit down restaurant & not feel uncomfortable for that much money. After seeing that Boss Burrito had a 4.8 star ranking, we decided to try it tonight. The food was absolutely horrible.

The meat was super dry and tough. The street tacos were the worst we’ve ever had. The chicken had a funky taste and was real fatty. I have never not finished my food while still being hungry at a restaurant. We spent $90 in food between the five of us just to throw away 70% of it.

They also have no fountain drinks. You’re forced to overpay for energy drinks or bottle soda. The place was extremely hot as well, we were all uncomfortable. I guess it made sense that they had no customers on a Saturday night besides us suckers. Either the reviews on here are paid for or people like bad food.

I usually don’t post many reviews because I worked in the food service industry for a long time. But I just had to this time. I usually get the street tacos I love them price, quality, and amount of food is amazing. This time I decided to go down the path less followed and get a burrito bowl. First of all when I got in there, at “6 PM”, half of the food was not restocked and ready to serve. Also the meat looked like it had been sitting for hours. I asked for rice black beans and when I say it was half a spoon full of each I mean half a spoon full. Then I asked for jalapeños he proceeded to put onions on it in which I responded, I guess I’m doing onions as well. No response to that then when I went to check out 15 dollars for the burrito bowl when Ideally the burrito with a tortilla which is supposed to more food is only $11.
