The only reason for this review of one is because I am unable to give a zero.

While on a recent visit to this store we witnessed complete incompetence on the part of one of their workers who waited on my mother. When my mother was starting to check out, a couple of women accidentally dropped a candle nearby to the registers. The young man, named after the first name of a popular peanut butter cup, stopped waiting on my mother (already at the counter) and went to clean up the broken candle. My mother had already placed her Burke's card on the counter. In the middle of all this, the young man called back the individuals who were already leaving his register and gave them my mother's Burkes' card! When told of this, he showed no concern to correct his mistake and went on about his business of cleaning the broken candle and made no attempt of stopping the individuals he gave my mother's card to. Thank God it wasn't a credit card associated with Burkes.

When told this to a supervisor, it was not corrected. My mother's rewards for this card were not reinstated to her. My parents wound up canceling their card and will not patronize to this store...

The store is clean and organized. The staff is friendly and attentive. The selection is a little lacking but it is after Christmas and inventory levels are decreasing so I can't really complain. Overall a pleasant experience. They do honestly have the best discount program in my opinion with he One Card. 10% off Monday or Friday depending on what age bracket you fall into with no exclusions. Plus the huge discount on clearance...
