My son loves to eat here and I am so upset everytime I attempt to take him to this "resturant". Poor service, long waits, terrible waits, food quality not equal to the money im spending, and is it the worst trying to pay. They insist that i use the thing at table to pay and although i dont care it never works. I asked 3 ppl to help me check none of them knew how, said they would get someone. I haf to find a manager and said come take my money so I can get out of this god forsaken resturant only then was I listened to. This red lobster has always been poor in service and now the place matchs as a whole. One other experience I had called asked the manager if I could buy a gift card and them bring it out to me bc I had a sleeping baby in the car was told yes. I waited 10 mins outside trying to be understanding that may be busy even with the lack of cars in parking lot. Never came out I left. I called back and the manager said the card was ready and I must be at the wrong location. Curious as we only have one. Found out that he didnt want to do it and laughed while I waited. Way to treat ppl. I say all this bc I would love to buy a gift card and take my son to one of his favorite resturants but it not worth the money or stress.
My son got me to go again today. Im sad to report it is not any better. We arrived 1230 on a sunday had a small wait, we were sat ans I placed my order immediately as I know how long it can take. I knew we were in trouble when i heard another wait apologizing for thw kitchen getting backed up. Now on sunday after church time you should be running a good crew. I said nothing and worked on destracting my son as we waited. At 130 i go calmly poleitly ask for a manager. She comes to my table i tell her we have waited an extremely long time and that my salad i was just brought taseted like genuine dirt. She aplogozed and said she only had my ticket for 15 mins. She took off my salad. My sons lobster was burned mac and cheese was unedible. I got a pound of crab legs he and I split them. Potatoes under crab were burnt. Left 230. Read more**Update: RL reached out to me and gave me a gift card to use at their locations, so I had a lunch there. Ordered the Wednesday special $25 Sirloin and Lobster tail, baked potato and an extra side salad. The food was okay, steak was tasty but the lobster tail arrived cool to the touch. Baked potato was tasty and the side salad had a good variety of veggies. My drink was refilled incorrectly which is understandable but kind of bugged me because my server was no where to be found for like 8 minutes. It was much cooler in the restaurant this time and brighter than I previously visited. I would eat here again but maybe not order a "special". 4 stars food, 4 stars service, and 4 for atmosphere
The food really doesn't change much franchise to franchise, but what does change is the atmosphere and the service. I put in a to go order for some sides to take over for a family dinner and my order was lost somewhere. I asked 3 people about it and only received an answer from one. It wasn't very busy inside, maybe half of the tables. The restaurant was dark inside, it was fairly warm too like an uncomfortable warm. I finally received my order of 2 side dishes 55 minutes after ordering (for reference it said it would be ready in 10 minutes). This (my final) experience was far from moderate. The place wasn't even that busy. It must have been under-staffed (obviously the kitchen because there were several servers just standing around). An older couple was the only people ahead of our group (5 people). It took about 25 minutes to be seated. After being seated we waited about 15 minutes for someone to come and take out drink orders (which never happened). We got up and left after a waitress came to the table beside us and told the family that they were out of the trout that they ordered and it was going to be another 30 minutes before their food would be out. They must have been there for a long time before that because they were very unhappy. My wife told the front desk why we were leaving and instead of saying, "I'm so sorry." The guy looked shocked and asked where we had been seated. We were all so hungry, she just said she didn't know because there was never a server that came to our table.
