Overrated/Understaffed OR Overpriced/Underwhelming
They seem to be extremely disorganized and have a lack of communication. We were told a 10-minute wait for seats which turned out to be over 25 minutes. That wasn’t a big deal. After getting the text that our seats were ready, we went up to the hostess area and were met with fluster and confusion. After being seated, we were greeted by a girl who was friendly enough but told us she wasn’t our server and that she would go ahead and take our drink and appetizer order. Those were brought out in under 10 minutes and we placed our food order at that time. I ordered a salad and my husband a sandwich wrap. Pretty uncomplicated we thought. After being there for almost an hour, our server apologized for our wait and assured us that our food would arrive shortly. After waiting a little longer, we decided that our order had been forgotten. We paid for the drinks and appetizer and left. During our wait, we saw several other tables that were seated after us get their food, eat and leave. A couple of times we overheard staff complaining about each other (loudly). About the last half hour of our time there, the staff completely ignored us and flurried around avoiding eye contact. It seemed like the people who were drinking alcohol got very prompt service and maybe local patrons were treated better. I also felt like they were backed up with Door Dash orders that took priority. Regardless, we wasted a lot of time giving them the benefit of a doubt. The fried pickles were tough and chewy. The breading and the sauce were just ok. My ice water was the best thing about the experience. We tipped even though we had no reason to. Over 15.00 for a glass of water, a soda, and some...

Read moreGreat environment. Servers are great. Several items on the menu that I've had over time have been awesome. (The BLT leaves a LOT to be desired though, check out the BLT at Midtown Market for reference) . I used to visit at least every other week 2x a week until my little tradition with family and office mates was ruined by the horrible attitude from the manager Jacob. He turned a simple request to return an overcooked deep-fried side into an unnecessary argument with me in front of my guest & kids. Apparently, according to him i had to like the hard dark brown burnt onion rings because he ate one and it was fine to him. When he finally removed -$1 off our ticket, he simply rolled his eyes and threw the ticket on the table and walked away like if I had just stole his Pokémon cards in kindergarten. He reminded me of those people Gordon Ramsey loses his marvels over in his restaurant rescue show. (Hope whatever Jason was going through in his personal life has been resolved and he learned not to take it out on customers or his kitchen staff) So: 3.5 stars on food, 4 stars on drinks, 4.5 stars on bartender/waitresses, 1 star in management. This 1 star only applies to one manager though, the rest have been ok. (PS: I get it, microwave bacon is convenient, but still, use...
