We attended the play "Native Gardens", Friday's performance. We enjoyed it very much. MHT took the safety and health of the attendees seriously and implemented CDC guidelines. Every other row of seating was taken out to creat space between rows. The refreshments bar was closed and no meet and greet with the actors following the play; we just waved at us from the stage to our applauses. Therefore, no intermission. I appreciated MHT's efforts. I was not going to attend until I learned of the changes implemented. I'm glad I did. I am a season ticket holder of the 56th season at the MHT. I am impressed by the quality and quantity of stage design and work with each play I've attended. Kudos, MHT set design and builders! I am proud of the talent within the Purchase area. There aren't enough good adjectives for me to use to describe this gem of smallish theater. The Market House Theater is just all around amazing with the quality of every production they put on, to the classes and camps and more. If you ever in or around Paducah and the Market House Theater has a show (they usually do) currently going,. regardless of what it is, go see it!! The acting, production, and direction are all held to the same standards as any large Broadway show. I've seen Hamilton, Rent, Cabaret, The Producer's and Dear Evan Hason all in New York on Broadway and I love every production I've seen at the Market House and put it right up there with actual Broadway Shows... it's that good!!!
