I admit that I expected more of Paducah and their riverfront because of the history and what some tourists shared in their reviews. I believe they're going to build up this town more and attract investors and the attention that they deserve, but I would recommend going on a Friday or Saturday. Lots of businesses were closed up on Sunday. Now, on a positive note, there are unique murals painted on walls along the downtown area close to the riverfront. These represented some historical events and I recommend checking them out! The National Quilters Museum was a gem as well. It was only a few minutes walk from the riverfront and we could see it from where we were walking. It's best to park near the riverfront then you'll have access to many businesses...
