Culver’s — Restaurant in Palatine Township

They're getting 3 stars because I come here often and this was my first bad experience. I waited 20 minutes in my car, I watched 9 cars behind me get served, and 1 car infront of me with a huge order (they weren't prepared for, which caused the issue) get served while I sat there with 2 kids in the car. Each employee bringing out food took turns looking at me avoiding eye contact, frustrating, one guy came up after taking the same bag to 3 other cars to ask me if it was my food, it wasn't, and I can't imagine that's good food practice during a pandemic. Then the manager Danny came out, I said I needed my food or a refund and he said he was going to give me both, ok fine. He asked me what my order number was, I had no idea because the kid before him took it away. I waited outside another 15 minutes before I decided to go in. Danny had a bag of food and a refund receipt, again not my order. So he refunded a random person, then got aggressive with me when he realized he'd made yet another mistake. He acted put upon, rude, inconvenienced, which is mind boggling because it was obviously their mistake. He accused me of refusing to tell him what my order was when he had never asked. I said this could've been handled better and he loudly exclaimed HOW?! I worked in retail management for 13 yrs and currently work in customer service, I would never dare to treat a customer the way I was treated. I lost a half hour of my time for 11 dollars and to ultimately be treated like garbage. I would be ashamed to have someone like him represent my company. The only intelligent thing he did was tell the kid who was about to ask me to move my car in the middle of everything to walk away. If their competition is Chick Fil A, there is no comparison in regards to service and they are failing miserably. Especially for the price. I don't expect or want anything from this, it's...

The only place where you can get a "butterburger"!!!!!! And it's a butterburger, so it'll be a little messy, but their are other amazing options. In my opinion the Atlantic Cod is the best thing on the menu. Just my opinion. The melt is fantastic for a burger. Fried chicken is great. Cheese curds (ask for marinara) awesome!!!!! Then you have about 2000 different types or concoctions of customizing your custard. Concrete mixers, shakes, sundaes, pre-mixed pints to-go. You name it they have it. Have a picky child? Bring em there....they got it covered. By the way, I've never worked a day there, nor own a share in the company. I just believe when I find something worth my money and value it should get praise. Culver's is a warm and welcoming, friendly atmosphere with above and beyond service. 5 stars, 10 out of 10, two thumbs up. I could go on and on. I'll continue to frequent the Palatine location with my family, hopefully for years to come. I wish I could thank each employee individually by name, but instead a big kudos to all of you. I'm not even sure who's in charge there (management) because you all are very professional for such a young staff. Every one of you! It may just be a job, but keep up the great work and the wonderful attitudes! You are all heading down the right path in your future employment endeavors. Me and my father went into the place on September 7 around 9:12pm at night. When entering the place, it was somewhat empty but when we entered we knew what we going order and got to the front. Two young gentleman had their backs turned looking down at their phones laughing and not paying attention while in work. But, nonetheless we ordered bacon deluxe meal and kids meal burgers. First thing that was bad about this place was the fact that when getting the soda, it had no carbonation to it at all. The Coca Cola tasted more like medicine. When we got our first, the fries were cold and the burger itself had everything we wanted inside of it, but the buns were cold and not heated to its correct temperature. We went to the register ask for another order which we stated our food was completely cold, and they remade our order and brought it back to us. But again. The buns were cold and didn’t even try to correct what happened. Honestly, don’t step into this culvers at all I recommend going the one in Buffalo Grove. If you want good quality food. $22.34 dollars was spent for two people. Both burgers were cold. Definitely go ahead go Buffalo...
