Well usually I have a good experience at huddle house when I go but this time it was just awful. The tables that were marked cleaned and ready for use we're dirty, then waited for awhile to just get someone to come take it drink order. Kind I'm mind there were about 6 tables occupied in the whole place. So not busy at all. Then we finally get to order and the waitress had to keep coming back cause the are out of pretty much everything we wanted. So I ended up getting a burger and fries and my husband got the country fried steak, his food was ok they had to substitute a few things cause they were out of what they needed to make the country fried steak the most important part the gravy. My burger was just ok and the fried you could not eat cause they were just to greasy, I couldn't even take it home to my dog like I usually do because of the amount of grease. And forget telling the wait staff anything is wrong with your food cause there more worries about who was going to take the order of there regular customers. Maybe it was an of day for them or something not sure but when you have epidemic going on and you aren't getting allot of customers in because people just aren't going it to eat you would think when they do get customers they would make sure you have a great dining experience. I don't care if your during in a dive joint or a five star restaurants let's make sure everyone is enjoying were they decided to eat instead of making the experience uncomfortable. But will I give them another chance you bet because like I said it might just have been an off day. Everyone deserves second...
Read moreBeen going there and getting the same thing forever. The MVP Breakfast Platter. Will not be going back again. On the menu it says that it come with a waffle or pancakes. Have always got 2 pancakes. Today I got a pancake about 4" around and was super flat more like a crepe. When I asked the waitress what was up with the tiny single pancake. She said that the portions have changed. ? Was kind of miffed because when I showed them on the menu that it said pancakes (plural) she said she knew nothing about it. The cook was by the register (no manager at the store) he said that was bull that we were suppose to only get one pancake. Okay here is the rub. Apparently on their menu it says pancakes on their website it says pancake. But the fact still remains I don't think they meant a 4" slightly larger than silver dollar pancake. Not going back. The whole thing ruined my breakfast. I have always prided myself on being a good tipper but I didn't leave a tip. I know its not the waitresses fault but she didn't handle the situation well at all. Was an embarrassing situation for all. Not why you go out to eat. It is suppose to be fun! Made me feel like I was trying to cheat to get more food. Well you've lost a lot of customers on this one...
Read moreServer was kind Came in for the $5.99 bowl advertisement on their sign out front, but was advised that it's hardly any food and usually only old people eat off "that" menu. They were out of sausage gravy. They were out of grits. They were out of fruit. Asked for cheddar cheese on an omlette but got american... Didn't send back because I didn't want to wait for them to remake my food. Trash all over the floor $1 upcharge on each 2 egg item "because of the price of eggs right now" They had a small sticker on the FRONT of the menu, but not near any egg-based menu items. They said there was a sign on the front door that said it too. I believe the professional thing to do would be to give customers the heads up when they order an egg based meal, but they believe the sticker is sufficient. Pretty sure that if you're charging $12 for an omlette, you should be able to eat the temporary price increase of eggs.
Basically, if you think you are going to be able to feed your small family on a budget, you'll probably end up spending $50+
If I want to spend $50 on a meal, it's not going to be at a...
