This is what this town needs. Fresh cooked, non commercialized bbq with a friendly staff who cares about their customers. The pork sandwich was delicious, the mustard sauce was homemade and not something generic off the shelf. The baked beans were some of the best I've ever had and the Mac and cheese was pretty good too. It was made with spiral pasta, which made it feel creative instead of just regular elbo shells. I will definitely be back and highly recommend people support this local business over the commercial bbq options in town. I had lunch today with a friend at Cattlemen's Real Pit Bar-BQ, located at 816 St. John’s Avenue in Palatka, right next door to Dairy Queen. We both ordered the Cattlemen's Boss Burger—two cheesy sliders topped with pulled pork and dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and their signature house sauce.
