The service was great and was not at all the issue. However, we were incredibly underwhelmed at the limited choices available on the hot bar. There were maybe 12 options. The fried items were cold and soggy, and the vegetables tasted like they are all dressed up when poured from a can, except the corn. There were no mashed potatoes or baked potatoes, which is a typical buffet staple. There is a salad bar, but we don’t eat salad. You choose your own paper plate from the bar and put your trash in the bucket on the table next to the roll of paper towels. I find this absolutely disgusting and appalling. For $16 a person plus tip, I at least expect regular plates, napkins, and someone who will remove my dirty plates.
When we brought it to the server’s attention that there were cold chicken wings on the bar, she fetched a manager for us who arrived at our table in what looked like her pajamas. It would be great if employees were provided with uniforms (if it was the owner, perhaps a plain button down shirt, not a graphic t-shirt, and slacks would be more appropriate. Even a name tag or something that says “I work here” would’ve been great). The manager checked the temperature of items on the hot bar and found some to be in an unsafe temperature zone and instructed someone to replace the items.
Our meal was comped after raising our concerns, and the cold food on the bar was discarded. I hope they’re able to fix their table so that it holds proper temp. I’d hate to see anyone get sick. I know they’re just getting started here, but with them having another location that receives such rave reviews, I’m really surprised at the scarce options paired with the insanely high price. I really want locally owned businesses to be successful in this town, but I’m very sorry to say that I will not be back. The extra star was given for...
Read moreI had the all you can eat crab legs. If you truly don’t like any seasoning and just want to dip your seafood in melted butter then this is truly the place for you. I’m not trying to be mean, I’m being genuine.
Unfortunately, for me, I do like a lot of seasoning on my food. I really wish that they cooked their crab with seasoned water. They will lightly sprinkle the crab with old base seasoning. I asked for more so I could put it in my butter, which did help out a lot, but it’s all they offer unfortunately.
If they had some seasoning options (Lemon butter, Cajun, spicy, etc.) this would help it not be flavorless and would help the food out a lot.
This place has the potential to be so much more if they flavored their food.
The server was amazing. I was really pleased with the attention I got...
Read moreMy husband and I moved to the area and figured we give the place a chance. They had different flavored wings, macaroni and cheese, fried ocra, salad bar, fried potato wedges. The all you can eat cost was a little over $16 a person not including a drink. I felt it was overpriced for the little they had to offer. A couple of things that made me decide on not going back. The carpet was so dirty. The salad bar was against the wall and you could barely get the different ingredients out from the back. Macaroni and cheese was blah. Chicken wings like what you could get from Domino's. Ocra was good. Fried potatoe wedges looked like they sat for a while. We went for dinner! The owner could spruce up the place a bit. Maybe some nicer plates...felt like I'm...
