11/23/22 UPDATE Store response was to please email them for a solution. Emailed them 2x, it’s been a week and crickets! Unbelievable. They don’t even stand by their own response.
I am saddened to feel no further recourse, but to share on social media the lack of common customer service my husband and I have received. We purchased a very expensive, reclining sectional October 2021. Unfortunately, immediately after delivery, we realized a component of the sectional was broken when we went to move it. We had to use the warranty and repair service offered to fix, instead of simply replacing the piece with the showroom floor piece as we requested as an alternative, quick solution. It was repaired after we had to go out of our way to make more than several follow up calls to the store employees and two of their repair vendors. The store receptionist was not in any way helpful either, but exasperated the situation with a very short, condescending, and matter of fact cut and dry attitude...can't be bothered with your concerns, it's your problem, not mine sense of entitlement. Not sure, but believe her name is Alvina? Jessica proved to be more helpful and empathetic, taking accountability for the shortfalls and chatting with us. Jessica explained that Farmers changed repair vendors and our repair fell through the cracks in transition. Still, why did we have to try and connect with everyone, over and over again to come to some sort of a resolution. Why did we have to continually call before any resolution was found? It was rather disheartening to spend thousands of dollars and have to track down where our repair stood time and time again with a rude, stonewall reception each phone call in, from the employee whom regularly answers the incoming calls (Alvina?). Kudos to Jessica for taking some accountability. Fast forward six months, another two parts broken on the sectional. Unreal! We are a family of three with NO small children. Have reached out to the store about 15 times, no exaggeration. Had one repair vendor come out and yet still nothing fixed - NO REPAIR, NO FOLLOW UP, JUST ATTITUDE FROM THE RECEPTIONIST EACH TIME WE CALL. The repair vendor advised, we should keep a fire under them to ensure parts are #1 ordered as he requested and #2 for scheduling of repair within our warranty time frame. After and exhausted number of telephone calls to the store, one in which I finally said, I've had enough of your attitude and lack of communication and customer service, NO RESPONSE. NONE. It is a shame that we shopped local to support the community and this is the lack of service received. The sectional is extremely poor quality to start with and at lease we should have been offered a substitute, but we would have settled for empathy and good customer relations. Trust me, we've put forth several solutions for consideration and NOTHING, NO RESPONSE, CRICKETS. We are working class citizens, whom spent thousands of dollars for our home, supporting the local economy, contributing to the rude employee's job security, and were treated in this unfortunate manner. Read moreI have to say I couldn't be more satisfied. I walked into farmers furniture in Palatka FL and I was met at the door by a wonderful salesman. I was treated with respect and he took his time and helped me choose the most comfortable living room furniture I have ever purchased. Not to mention the price was very reasonable, fortunately I came in the store when they were running a promotion and I got 15% off my purchase and a 50$ gift certificate. My credit isn't the best in the world but the finance manager was kind and understanding and was able to help me. ( thanks again). My furniture was delivered yesterday (exactly as promised) and the deliveryman was as respectful and professional as everyone in the store. Read moreThe customer service was great both with our sales rep (Alvinia) and the finance lady I don’t remember her name so I am sorry. The merchandise we received is good quality. They would have gotten a 5 star rating from me if I wasn’t still waiting for furniture that was ordered almost 3 months ago and was told it would be there the Tuesday after we ordered it and then 2 weeks later and then I was told by December 27th and now it is January 11 and I am still waiting on pieces of furniture that was ordered October 21st but when the payment came due I went in to pay and forgot because I got upset that the pieces I’m waiting on still weren’t there and left but they called me because they wanted their money. I paid the payment and was told I would get a call back that still hasn’t came about the missing pieces
