(VERY LONG READ. HOPEFULLY OWNER WILL TAKE SOME ACTION. THIS LOCATION HAS NOT BEEN GOOD FOR YEARS)
Gave Domino's another try. just as bad as before except paid less. At 10:30pm, ordered 2 large 3 topping thin crust pizzas for $7.99 each. Ordered online for carry-out after shopping at Badwill (Wal-Mart). Sat in truck while pizza was being made. It took longer than was stated. Set-up for text updates, and received the first two...that was it. Finally staff came out and asked name, and the order was ready. Informed that I did not receive a text.
When arrived home, opened boxes, and both pizzas did not look appetizing. Very small amounts of ingredients were used; including sauce, which I had ordered extra. Sliced like pan pizzas and not pizza pie. That would normally be fine; however the crust was more soggy instead of crispy. What could have been the cause. It could not be grease, since the beef pizza only had 1-3 bits of beef on the outer pieces. Could not be from the extra sauce, because the lack of it; could not taste it or honestly see it.
I have not ordered from Domino's for a long, long while. Frozen pizzas tasted better and cost less until I gave Pizza Hut Palestine a try and have been very pleased. However, one draw back is they close at 9pm, Monday through Thursdays. Not a lot of choices for carry out before 9pm, but even slimmer after 9pm.
Domino's in Palestine will not get another try. I do understand the large pizza was only $7.99, but they need to do better than the horrible tasting Totino (sp?) pizzas that I refuse to buy. A soggy cracker with ketchup would have tasted better. It was late, I was hungry, and did not take pics like I...
Read moreOrdered a large pineapple pizza with extra pineapple. It definitely didn't have extra pineapple. What it did have was WAY too much sauce from about halfway from the middle of the pizza to the crust. There also was no cheese over the extra saucy area. They center loaded the pizza so, it was soggy in the middle, and extremely overcooked everywhere else. The hand tossed crust should be chewy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and covered in yummy garlic parmesan seasoning. It was none of those things. It was thin and brick hard. I couldn't have chewed it if my life depended on it. The pizza was also cold because they simply forgot that my son was sitting in the parking lot waiting on it. They had 45 minutes to get it ready. Somehow, they just didn't. They gave him a 2 liter Coke for having to wait. I would have preferred to get a decent pizza. As for the parmesan bread twists, I meant to order the parmesan bread bites. Not sure what went wrong with the ordering process. Didn't think there would be an issue though, since it's all just baked pizza dough. Wrong again. They were overcooked and extremely greasy. There was next to no seasoning on them either. They were so disappointing. I realize they were busy but, that's no excuse...
Read moreAfter getting my pizza’s at other places I thought that I would try Dominos, since it has been years since I had eaten their pizza’s. I ordered my pizza online which was convenient, but there is where my positive experience ended! After arriving at the pickup window I exchanged glances with the person on duty, after waiting for some time, as it seemed that she was in conversation with another employee, she came to the window. She said “Yes! To which I advised her of an online order I had placed and my name. She returned a bit later with the box containing my pizza and handed it to me. She then asked if I wanted an online receipt, Yes or No? I said that would be fine, she then closed the window, no thank you, not even a smile!!! Now I don’t usually submit comments, but even after taking my pizza home I found that it did not have the extra cheeses which I had requested, very few other ingredients and it had been overcooked! I paid $20.29 for a medium pizza, I expected it to be a good pizza!!! I have learned from this experience to never go back to...
