I have kinduva love/hate relationship with multi-national pizza chains. On the one hand, they are convenient, filling and inexpensive. I mean, your can always feed four people on ten bucks if you needed. On the other hand, they serve generally forgettable, mass produced food that offers questionable nutrition on a commercial scale.
For me, places like this get a visit when there are few to no convenient options, or when I'm in the mood for something completely different. I haven't been to the physical location of this store, so I can't speak to the overall cleanliness of the shop or of the in-person experience. My only experience is having ordered delivery from them.
In fact, it just occurred to me that this whole recent transaction was completed without any interaction with another human being. The order was placed online and delivered via contactless delivery. How unusual (for me, at least)!?
I recently ordered two, two-topping pizzas from them and found the whole experience to be a step above adequate. The pies had the standard puffy crust and were appointed with a reasonable amount of toppings. They weren't particularly visually appealing nor displeasing. My only complaint was that one had bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce and it was on the dry side after cooking. Still the delivery arrived in just over 30 minutes all hot and ready to go, and during dinner time on a week night. Your go, Domino's! Here's an above average rating!
Look, if your want unique and inspirational, go somewhere else, but if your want cheap and cheerful, Domino's is the best of the...
Read moreI’ve ordered from this restaurant twice now, and I’m happy to say my second experience was much better than the first.
Pizza – Just like last time, the medium hand-tossed pizza with chicken, capsicum, onions, extra cheese, and garlic crust was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. The chicken was tender, the veggies crisp, and the extra cheese gave it a rich, indulgent feel without being greasy. The garlic crust was a standout – perfectly savory with that soft-yet-slightly-chewy texture I enjoy. Portion-wise, it’s easily enough for 2–3 people, and everyone enjoyed it.
Pasta – This was where my first order fell short, but I was pleasantly surprised this time. The chicken Alfredo pasta arrived in a good portion size, was well-seasoned, and not overly salty like before. It was still fresh and creamy, and felt more balanced overall.
Delivery & Service – Both times, my food arrived piping hot and fresh, and this time it was at my door in under 30 minutes. While sides like ketchup, chili flakes, or garlic powder would still be a nice touch, the improvement in pasta quality makes a big difference to the overall experience.
Overall: ✅ Pizza – consistently excellent. ✅ Pasta – big improvement in portion and flavor. ⚡ Delivery – quick and reliable. ⚠️ Sides – still missing, would enhance the experience.
Would definitely reorder both pizza and pasta again, especially now that the pasta quality...
Read moreWhere do i start: Ordered online didnt notify us or start the tracker period. After an hour of no contact we called and was told they were remaking order since somehow it was forgotten about and that we should give them 15 mins for the new order. Then picked said order up after 15 mins, paid and took it home excited to have some amazing dominos pizza. Instead what happened was my wife went to pick up a slice and it was feeling lukewarm like it was sitting out for over an hour on a shelf somewhere. Spent about an hour on hold with dominos customer service in ann arbor since the store that's less than 10 mins away couldnt be reached. The support people were of great help but in the end we just spent 15 mins reheating it ourselves and making the most of the night. So for all of that trouble we prolly could of made the pizza at home. Instead we wasted our night handling that fiasco from taking our business to what we thought was a decent place.
And i almost forgot to mention that after all that they finally turned on the tracker and sent...
